Soraka, the Celestial Healer - Rework Concept

I have been playing Paladins lately, recommend trying it out if you have not, it is free to play so not like you have to commit to it financially just for trying it out. There is a champion named Jenos and he is a celestial healer as well, simple champion that is all about constantly healing his entire team.

Now obviously this has to feel both a League of Legends champion and as Soraka, but Soraka is in dire need of some big changes to improve her game health. Soraka should have elements thrown in her kit to try to properly teach the player how to play as support, still be simple to use for the player, while offering skill expression so each player can play her differently and adapt to situations - this also increases her mastery curve for those that want to main Soraka.

Attack Range: 575 units Movement: 340 units per second Attack Speed: 0.667 +4% per level

Celestial Burning (Passive):

Soraka's basic attacks apply a Star Mark on her target for 6 seconds. While a target is marked, they are dealt 30 - 180 (+60%AP) magic damage over the duration.

Star Call (Q):

Cooldown: 5/4/3/2/1 second; Cost: 40/55/70/85/100 mana; Range: 700 units

Soraka calls down a star to the closest, highest maximum health enemy near her, dealing 20/30/40/50/60(+30%AP) magic damage and applying a Star Mark. Damage increases by 2% per 1% mana that Soraka currently has (max 60/90/120/150/180(+90%AP) magic damage).

If Star Call strikes a Star Mark, then it consumes it and replenishes 25(+35%AP) mana, instead of applying a Star Mark.

Celestial Blessing (W):

Cooldown: 10 seconds; Cost: 60/75/90/105/120 mana; Range: 500+ units

Passive: Celestial Blessing gains (+500%AP) bonus range. Celestial Blessing's base cooldown is reduced by (-1 per 100AP) seconds. Allied champions that took champion damage in the last 1 second are healed for an additional 10/40/70/100/130(+75%AP) health instantly upon casting Celestial Blessing against them.

Active: Soraka applies a Mark of Blessing on the target champion or herself for 10 seconds, healing the target over the duration for 10/70/130/190/250(+150%AP) health. All Star Marks are consumed, increasing the healing over time equal to 10%(+3% per 100AP) of Star Marked champions' maximum health as additional healing.

Dark Starlight (E):

Cooldown: 17/14/11/8/5 seconds; Cost: 40/70/100/130/160 mana; Range: 400 units

Soraka zaps the light around herself and all targets with a Mark of Blessing and Star Mark, dealing 80/120/160/200/240(+100%AP) magic damage and destroying all enemy channels, projectiles, spells, abilities, and cast times that were struck.

Astral Force (R):

Cooldown: 120/90/60 seconds; Cost: 100 mana; Range: 900 units

Soraka channels in place for 2 seconds, suspending and suppressing the target enemy champion in the air for 0.5 second longer than Soraka's channel time.

While channeling, Soraka gains 50% damage reduction and increases all healing on herself by 100/175/250%.

UPDATE NOTES:

Celestial Burning: Star Mark duration increased to 6 from 4 seconds Damage over time decreased to 30 - 180 (+60%AP) from 40 - 120 (+60%AP) [reminder that you have abilities that consume the Star Mark and hence will not apply the full damage; also longer duration means each tick does less damage]

This is a quality of life feature to more easily get off a lot of attacks on to champions.

Star Call: Cost increased to 40/55/70/85/100 from 50/55/60/65/70 mana to make better sense of current mana granting more damage and the mana restoration. Star Call striking a Star Mark now consumes it and no longer reapplies it, to better create a decision making of what to do with Star Marks and teaches the player to either position yourself to hit the target you want to hit or hit the tank as the support.

Mana restoration on consuming a Star Mark with Star Call increased to 25 +35%AP from 20 +25%AP

Celestial Blessing: Clarified passive instant healing is additional healing Changed wording from over time to over the duration, no actual difference % max health bonus healing base value decreased to 10% from 12% % max health bonus healing only applies from champions instead of all units to better encourage aggressive play out of Soraka like what we want for game health reasons and teach the player about applying lane pressure as the support

Dark Starlight: Cooldown lowered to 17/14/11/8/5 from 18/15/12/9/6 seconds
