Primary Role: Marksman Secondary Role: Fighter

Description

Concept

Renja is the finest ranger of an ancient people who has lived in isolation from the rest of the world deep inside the Kumungu Jungle for millenia, and are my take on elves in the LoL universe. They bind their spirits to animals, who then become their life companions. For Renja, this is the large, white saber-teethed tiger Witaros. Binding their spirits like this allows them to use spirit based magic, like creating weapons out if thin air. Renja uses one of these spirit weapons, more specifically a bow.

Gameplay

Renja and Witaros act as two completely separate units: Renja is a long range, but immobile marksman, while Witaros is a swift meele fighter. Their abilities are focused around controlling both units like one, meaning they are strong together but weak alone. However, there is no range limit to the distance the two can be from each other, so a skilled player could potentially do things like split push two lanes at ones.

However, this of course comes with tradeoffs: As mentioned before, they are very weak while separated, and on top of that always share the same health and mana bars, meaning that you as a player are in very big trouble if either one gets caught alone.

In teamfights, the two can be a decimating combo to go up against, but controlling two units at the same time in the chaos of a teamfight is not easy. On top of that, the immobile Renja always has to think about positioning, and Witaros, who has no innate tankyness, need use his abilities wisely to not become an easy target while in meele range. Being two separate units that share a health bar, Renja and Witaros also become very vulnerable to AoE damage.

Visuals

I'm not exactly an artists, so have nothing exact. However, here are some reference images (None of the pictures belong to me):

Renja

I imagine Renja to look something like this:

But with a more tiger influenced appearance, like having yellow cat eyes and his hair being white with black stripes. Living in the most southern part of Valoran, Renja's skin would also be much darker.

Witaros

Witaros is pretty straight-forward something like this:

Lore

Will be added eventually.

Abilities

Passive: Spirit Bond

Renja and Witaros act as separate units that share the same health bar, mana bar, base stats and stats gained from items, runes and masteries. Both Renjas and Witaros basic attacks apply on-hit effects, life steal and can critically strike. However, they both have reduced bonus attack damage.

Witaros can be controlled by using the left mouse button, and shift + spacebar will center the camera on Witaros. Holding down alt will cause the left mouse button to act as it normally would and causes the right mouse button to control both Renja and Witaros.

Casting recall will cause both Renja and Witaros to recall, and both's recalls are canceled if one is interrupted. Both Renja and Witaros need to be in the fountain in order to buy items or generate health and mana.

Q: Precision/Grace

After a short windup, Renja fires a spirit arrow that deals physical damage (scaling with AD) to all enemies in a line. If at least one enemy was hit, Grace can be cast for a few seconds.

Grace: Witaros leaps to a target his by Precision, dealing additional physical damage (scaling with AD) and briefly stunning it.

W: Predator's Swiftness

Toggle: Witaros becomes untargetable by single target spells and basic attacks and his movement speed is greatly increased, but mana is drained every second. The amount of mana drained is increased every second that Predator's Swiftness is active.

E: Tiger's Fury

Passive: Renja's basic attacks and Precision will mark enemies as vulnerable for a few seconds, stacking up to three times per enemy.

Active: Witaros quickly dashes between all nearby vulnerable enemies, dealing physical damage (scaling with AD) based on the amount of vulnerability stacks.

Ultimate: Fight as One!

Passive: Renja's basic attacks will increase Witaros damage done to the target for a short duration. Likewise, Witaros basic attacks will increase Renja's damage to the target for a short duration.

Active: Both Renja and Witaros starts channeling for 1 second. If they are both successful, they become untargetable for an additional second. After that, if the ability was cast on Renja, Witaros will be teleported to his side. If the ability was cast on Witaros, Renja will appear by his side instead.

How well does this kit work in theory? Does it seem fitting for a "two-in-one"/"permanent pet" type of champion? Is the archetype something you would want to see in League? Other opinions or concerns? Feedback is appreciated!
