Please leave Kayle alone.

First you stop putting helmets on her skins, even though she was sort of meant to be the female version of Pantheon in that aspect, then you put her in a super-tight outfit for her legendary skin that perfectly shows off her ass, and now you're giving her boob-armor in her default splash-art. Why Riot do you have such a problem with letting female characters just be their archetype and not "a female version" of that archetype?

The art is horrible. Melted gold egg? A really...weird looking pos? Boob plates?

Riot has pissed me off. Evrry other splqsh is far superior then the new one.

Yes. I bought Unmasked Kayle when it was the only skin without a helm. Every new skin from there (Judgment to a much lesser extent for me) has made that purchase just feel bad. The entire point to the skin was usurped by everything afterwards.

Good point: we need helmetless Pantheon.

Typically, I'd agree. But then, looking at more of the skins for her, most of them have breast plates. We should be lucky that they put the diamond divider in the middle of her chest, otherwise they've done studies that if breast plates were actually a thing for women, our chest cavities would get crushed under impact.

But, take a look at the Chinese splash arts for Kayle. I'm pretty sure after that, you'll enjoy this one. It is a pose from her in game character. And she's looking down at you because she's flying. So you'll see different things than if she was at eye level with you.

I dont agree with over sexualizing champions, but I think that is why they also toned it down with Ahri.

Sex sells. Doesn't matter if some of us get sick of it. Doesn't matter that we want champions like Kayle to be left alone. The majority of players like it. So what does Riot do? Makes a sexualized angel.

Doesn't bother me so much anymore though. Splash arts are looking less and less like the in-game models so I do care about splash arts anymore. As long as Kayle's model stays as it is I will be happy.

Except she always had boob armour even in her original splash...

More importantly, you're kinda just looking to be offended by the new splash art. If you asked any person who hasn't had prior knowledge of Kayle's lack of phallus what her gender was, they'd most likely answer male.

Yet if you take notice of her two amazingly tiny breasts you might identify her as female, but at the same time, you REALLY need to specifically pay attention to them to notice it. There's a helluva lot of things going on in the splash art, you need to be specifically looking for boobs in order to notice them in Kayle's splash, as in they're looking for something to be offended by.

It's very similar to the time people decided to be offended by Nami 's old voice just because they could not find anything to be offended by visually. So they chose to be offended by her voice instead.

The armor under the 100% aesthetic boob-plate is straight, normal plate armor, so it's not an issue that would affect the usability of the armor. She always had it anyways, not really seeing why you have a problem with it now, guess you just wanted a reason to whine on the internet.

To be fair about the helmet bit, Riot has been making helmetless skins for her since Season 1.

Valaran Nara10/15/2014, 5:57:40 AM1 votes

That moment when Jugement Kayle has a hat and Riot Kayle has a swat helm.

I think it's probable to say that Pantheon is horribly disfigured and we have enough disfigured men in this game as it is. Also, they have over sexualized men as well. The new Ezreal skin is pretty hot. Vladimir has always been a hottie. Graves and Pantheon are manly men that only most men could dream of being. Gangplank /Braum /Draven have a beard/stash that only men could dream of having.

But seriously, there is Poppy as well, whom isnt overly sexual. I can't say much for Tristana though, because of her quote, "Is that a rocket in your pocket?"

A lot of the women have been subjected to sexualization. And I remember when I first started playing, it did bother me just a bit and I was happy to see characters like Kayle and Poppy . But it leans both ways, as most men probably want to cosplay as Tryndamere but only have the body of Gragas.

Once they start making the females seem weaker than the males is the day I'll get pissed. But right now, there are other problems that are worse (MissFortune, Fiora , Ashe , Riven to name a few.) And with Kayle's new splash art, she looks dangerous as hell.

ZeldaKick10/15/2014, 11:33:09 PM1 votes

Also, Pantheon joined League out of blood thirst. Kayle was forced to join in order to protect her people. Do you really want to compare her to Pantheon?

This has to be the most unique complaint I have ever read
