Rok'Tul came to Runeterra long ago, but was only recently discovered by those have have traveled across Summoner's Rift. It's discovery wasn't exactly something to celebrate over in the name of biology either since the way it was discovered was quite horrific to say the least. Let's just say it involved a yordle messenger never arriving, a yordle search group being sent out, the yordle search group never returning, the yordle military being requested, and the yordle military group dispatched only returning with one lone survivor. He described the beast as if it had crawled out of a nightmare itself. A large brute that would kill anything in it's path before dragging it to it's cave for dinner time. Rok'Tul was only officially documented and discovered when the Scouts of the Mothership along with the best of the Megling Commandos were dispatched to find the beast. While it was discovered and documented, it could not be killed. After much discussion, it was decided to ban any yordle from entering the rift. The main question still lingers of "What is Rok'Tul? Where did he come from? How can you kill it?" The truth is unknown to all but a strange prophet from Shurima who says it came from a place the world now knows as the Void. Rok'Tul is a close range brawler that dominates the jungle of Summoner's Rift and just about any other dark place out of the natural lanes of any map. His abilities allow him to force monsters to serve him due to fear as well as quickly kill them. His natural habitat is the jungle of course and his ganking capabilities are entirely based on how powerful of a force he can take charge of in the jungle and if he can close the distance with his limited mobility.
LORE Journal Log 11 The beast hasn't been seen yet, but dang can it's scream be heard. Even when I rest in my sleeping bag at night, I can hear it's screams echo in the night. Whatever it is, it sounds big.
Journal Log 12 The beast's footprint have been found. They are smaller than I thought, but the indention it left in the ground shows off the creature's weight.
Journal Log 13 I have a sighting of the beast at the top of the rift. It lumbered into the river before disappearing into the bushes at the river side. I will further investigate where it is heading.
Journal Log 14 The beast has not appeared for several days. It is strange how it has suddenly disappeared. I cannot hear it's scream anymore. Instead all I hear is the scream of only what I can assume to be the creature known as Baron Nashor. This jungle is full of deadly creatures it seems. I'm glad the beast doesn't seem to leave it's pit however.
Journal Log 15 I have discovered a strange cave. I'm not sure what it could be, but it has the beast's tracks all around it. What could it be perhaps?
Journal Log 16 The beast knows I'm here. It knows my scent. It's been hunting me. I can't sleep because all I see are it's eyes. If you read this and are hunting said beast, don't. Or else you will end up like me. Trapped in a small cavern within a cave. Then again, if you are reading this, I guess it's too late for you. You are already here. In this small cavern. The beast can't reach you, but it knows you're there. Watching you, waiting for you to leave. I can hear it's breathing. It wants me. It wants to get me. It's going to get hungry out there eventually. Who knows what it may do? But when it does finally get hungry and decide it's done waiting, maybe you could be a better runner than I am. This is the final entry of the journal of Tyth... save me.

He is the only unit who can enter this cave and any wards placed inside the cave will be destroyed after a 3 second delay. While inside the cave, Rok'Tul will regenerate 3/4/5% of his max health per second, be able to purchase from the store, takes 30/40/50% reduced damage, and can stand over a small rock shrine for 12/9/6 seconds to teleport back to his team's fountain. Active: Rek'Tul picks up the target non-epic, neutral monster or enemy minion and stuns them for up to 3/4/5/6/7 seconds. He can reactivate this ability during this time to sling the monster or minion over his head and slam them down onto the ground behind him, dealing 60/85/110/135/160 (+20% AD) true damage. Ability 2- Forced Submission Active: Rok'Tul screams in the target direction, dealing 30/60/90/120/150 (+45% AP) magic damage and slowing enemies hit by 35% for 2 seconds, decaying over the duration. Enemy minions hit flee in terror for 150% of the slow duration. Neutral small monsters are forced into submission, attacking whoever Rok'Tul basic attacks and serving Rok'Tul until they die or until Rok'Tul is at 40/35/30/25/20% health, causing them to flee back to their camp when they see their leader is weak. Upon returning to their camp, they will die. Neutral large monsters are instead applied a stack of For of the King for 30 seconds. After being applied 3 stacks of Fear of the King, they will also be forced into submission and Rok'Tul will gain any buff they would provide him if he had killed them. Neutral monsters that are forced into submission grant their kill bounty to Rok'Tul upon being forced into submission. Monsters that are forced into submission will have movement speed equal to Rok'Tol's plus 10/15/20/25/30, ignore unit collision, and will regenerate all of their health over 5 seconds upon being forced into submission, but will only have 60% of their normal health. When Rok'Tol enters a bush, any monsters following him will huddle inside the bush so as to not be seen with Rok'Tol. Neutral small monsters killed grant 3 gold to their killer. Neutral large monsters killed grant 20 gold to their killer. An entire camp of monsters being forced into submission will start the camp death timer. Epic monsters will not be slowed, feared, or forced into submission from this ability. Rok'Tul can have a maximum of 6/7/8/9/10 monsters following him at one time. If he is interrupted, the target will immediately have the root and attack speed reduction removed from them. If Rok'Tul is able to channel for 2.5 seconds, he will rip the stomach of the target unit open with his claws, dealing 450/575/700 (+135% bonus AD) physical damage and refreshing the duration of the Grievous Wounds. If the target is killed, Rok'Tul will eat their corpse, healing himself for 30% of the damage dealt as well. TIPS
When Playing as Rok'Tul
- Rok'Tul has a unique jungling style. He can rotate between using Forced Submission on one camp and clearing another camp in order to cut the time he takes clearing the jungle nearly in half. It would be highly beneficial to use Forced Submission a Red and Blue Buff since they are the most powerful large monsters.
- While Rok'Tul has an extremely quick clear time in the jungle, his ganks can be hard to pull off before getting his ultimate and even then he can have a hard time. Getting as many monsters with Forced Submission as possible can help with his ganks.
- Due to Rok'Tul's cave being located in the middle of the map, his early game presence is very high, especially for counter jungling. Use his cave to its maximum potential.
- Jungle Dominance allows Rok'Tul to quickly dispose of any monster he does not want to force into submission. Be careful, however, since you cannot perform this spell and move at the same time.
When Playing Against Rok'Tul
- While Rok'Tul's cave has it's advantages, it also comes with weaknesses you can exploit. Placing a ward directly in front of his cave entrance will allow you to monitor his movements and, if he is low enough, you can cast abilities into his cave to potentially kill him.
- Rok'Tul has increased movement speed while he is in the jungle and the river. Avoid chasing or running from him in the jungle due to his increased movement speed.
- Rok'Tul's Void Rip gives a long warning to run to a safe location. However, it is unavoidable once he has set his sights on you so having an allied champion with you who can interrupt his ultimate will greatly benefit you by not having to suffer the ability's intense damage.
- Rok'Tul can create a large army of monsters by forcing them into submission. Having abilities that can quickly kill them will severely cut Rok'Tul's DPS.
