I just want a cute and cuddly champion...

This is going to be a bit different just because I really want a cute, cuddly, and lovable champion! We also have not had a female yordle added to the game in basically forever (a really, really long time) so I think it is due to have a cute, female yordle soon and I want one that is super fluffy instead of short furred like the others that are in the game, make her fluffy like Gnar in his non-mega form!

I will present an ability kit that is all about being cute and helpful and relaxing-ish to play, so a ranged utility mage (you guys like calling this a support, even though supports split up into either mages or tanks with a focus of working with their team and helping them out). I just hope Riot knows that there are people out there that want an anti-edgelord champion that is all about being super cute, cuddly, and adorable! So yea, this is a completely different type of champion concept for me and I may do some art for her once I get around to doing that.

Joy, the Uplifting Spirit

Joy is a mage-support all about being playful, happy, cute, adorable, and playing with her team and the enemy team!

Attack Range: 575 units Movement: 340 units per second

Ring-Around-The-Rosie (Passive):

Joy loves playing games, especially ring-around-the-rosie, when she does a full lap around an enemy champion, they will fall down for 1.5 seconds and she heals herself for 15 - 60 (+140%AP) health, this can occur once every 5 seconds against the same champion. Joy can heal from epic monsters by performing ring-around-the-rosie around it.

Joy can play ring-around-the-rosie with allied champions as well, when she does a full lap around the target it will heal them for 10 - 80 (+70%AP) health, this can occur once every 7 seconds for the same champion, this timer can be reduced further with cooldown reduction.

(A meter is placed around champions that only that champion and Joy can see when they are able to fall down or be healed, filling up as Joy moves around them, once fully filled will cause the target to fall down or receive healing.)

Light On Your Feet (Q):

Cooldown: 15 seconds

Joy gains 15/20/25/30/35%(+5% per 100AP) bonus movement speed for 5 seconds and leaves a feathery trail as she moves that remains in play for 3 seconds, granting allies on the trail 15/20/25/30/35%(+5% per 100AP) bonus movement speed.

If Joy is within 600 range to an enemy champion or epic monster, her own bonus movement speed triples to 45/60/75/90/105%(+15% per 100AP).

Playing Catch (W):

Cooldown: 5 seconds; Range: 700 units

Joy hurls a magic ball at the target enemy, dealing 30/40/50/60/70(+35%AP) magic damage and slowing the target by 65/70/75/80/85% for 0.5 second, the ball then bounces off the target and back towards Joy's location.

If Joy or an allied champion catches the magic ball on its return, then it will be thrown back at the closest enemy to them, this process can continually loop until the magic ball is failed to be caught or no nearby enemies are within range. Multiple magic balls can be in play at a time.

Guess Who! (E):

Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds; Range: 900 / 1050 units

Joy causes the target allied champion or herself to vanish for 0.5 second, and then reappear with two identical, harmless clones on both sides of the target or both on its right or both on its left, Joy chooses where the clones are placed, copying the target's movement, rotations, attacks, and abilities.

The clones can be targeted, get struck by skill shots, and receive damage, but cannot be killed, after 3 seconds or upon casting Guess Who! again will cause the clones to rush forward, dealing 80/120/160/200/240(+70%AP) magic damage to enemies that they pass through.

Flower Field (R):

Cooldown: 130/105/80 seconds; Range: 1400 units

Joy creates a field of flowers at her location for 30 seconds, healing herself and allies inside for 10/15/20(+20%AP) health per second and causes all units, ally and enemy, inside to joyfully skip for their movement, which causes them to quickly move to their target location up to a maximum distance of 50/60/70% of their current movement speed per skip.

NOTE: Guess Who! gets cast in a similar fashion to Taliyah's W, Rumble's R, Viktor's E, etc. as in you anchor the ability on the target champion, and then choose between the target's left (both clones on left), the target's right (both clones on right), or the target's centre (one clone on left, one clone on right) which if you tap the skill key without choosing a side will default to the centre location where there is a clone to the left and right. So unlike the other similar abilities, you only get three options to choose from, then the enemy team has to guess if the real champion is left, centre, or right for that guessing game element (or just pick AoE champions, but the AoE does need to be decently big since there is a little bit of space between them)!

The clones will be locked to their positions once in play, the skill shot portion goes in the direction they are currently facing, not based on where they are to the champion (the clones can be in the front and in the back of the champion for clarity sake, but this is because the champion rotated right or left).

UPDATE NOTES:

Ring-Around-The-Rosie: Name changed from Precious Presence Ally heal changed to being ring-around-the-rosie gameplay for allied champions rather than a truly passive heal of getting heal from epic monster or champion damage every 5 seconds Ally heal lowered to 10 - 80 +70%AP from 30 - 120 +70%AP Same target ally heal occurs once every 7 seconds that lowers with cooldown reduction

Light On Your Feet: Cooldown increased to 15 from 11 seconds Base movement speed increased by 5% and enhanced movement speed by 15%

Playing Catch: Cooldown lowered to 5 from 6 seconds Damage reduced to 30/40/50/60/70 +35%AP from 40/55/70/85/100 +40%AP Slow reduced to 65/70/75/80/85% for 0.5 second from 90% for 0.75 second

Guess Who! Added 'rotations' to the clones copying their target for the tooltip, no change was made however

Flower Field: Cooldown lowered to 130/105/80 from 150/120/90 seconds Heal per second changed to 10/15/20 +20%AP from 20/35/50 +10%AP 10% enemy slow is removed, you have Light On Your Feet to give your team the advantage Clarified ally and enemy can skip in the flowers

Also I have some champion concepts and would love if someone could make a drawing of one to go along with the rest of the lore feel free to check them out

Character Design

Totally agree that we are in need of another female Yordle, they are hugely outnumbered by their male comrades. That we got so many Yordles, yet just 3 of them are female is sad.

I can understand that you want her fluffy, too. Fluffiness shouldn't be a male trademark for the Yordles and we could use a female with more longer fur. However, besides that, your description falls short a bit.

What does she use as a weapon? Where does she live (new Bandle City champ?)? What champions is she related to? What is her general lore? A champion should have something that makes them exceptional, not just a playing ball of fur. What is her purpose in life, her backstory?

Kit and Gameplay

I gotta be honest, the passive is way too strong. Compare it to other abilities, Rakans Q for example. His Q has a longer cooldown than your passive heal, heals just 1 target additionally to him (yours up to 5 people) and requires to hit a skillshot. Your passive just works by being hit on your entire team, with way too high of an AP ratio.

Additionally, you get a 1,5s CC with a 5 seconds cooldown. I get that it will be hard to run a circle around the enemy, but with your MS buff of up to 90%+, that becomes way easier.

The idea of your W is really interesting, it basically is a magical version of Dravens Q. But the CD is way too short. That spell basically forces the enemy to disengage, to prevent the damage to permanently come at them, but then you can do the same 6 seconds later again. Too strong of a zoning tool in my opinion. And I think the ability to have multiple at once is unneeded.

E seems fine and interesting, but a question: do they follow the movement of the cloned target to prevent giving away them being clones?

R seems a bit basic and boring, IMO... Long lasting heal field and movement, which you already have with Q. I think you should consider changing it to something else, it seems redundant, since it doesn't deliver anything that your kit already doesn't (healing + movement).

In general, it seems your kit might work quite well in combination, since the Q helps alot with the movement based abilities of your passive and W.

I think it needs some work, especially since some numbers are off, but you definitely have some really interesting and unique ideas here.

Facit

Both, character design and kit, can use some more fleshing out and improvement, but I see potential here and hope you will keep working on it.

Ha lol not sure about the whole champ a little too many heals which is not bad but not likely the guess who on the other hand seems funny I would like to see it in play FYI I hate cathlyn Caitlyn always gets that bird shot thing this would totally screw her over so the move has my vote [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

I was pretty hyped about Zoe until she's revealed to be both obnoxious in her personality and her gameplay design, if not literally screwed horribly wrong in her head with her seemingly possessing the most extreme case of ADD and bipolar the League universe has ever seen.

Oh well. next time.

But honestly though, it would seem the most of the newer additions to the roster are individuals with some kind of emotion management problems or really off-beat worldview or wacky self presentation. It really doesn't hurt to have genuine and cuddly personalities as new comers every once in a while, it's kind of tiresome to see most of the more "grounded" champs are all from the old roster; and it hurts more to see more and more old champs who have been known for their good natured persona are gradually re-written to beecome grumpy for no reasons, such as Irelia and Karma.

The thing I learned about "cute" champions is that they are nice on the oustide, but in the actual game they are little terrors. Teemo

This reminded me a little of the concept I had for a champion years ago, looks like it's still on the boards too. Anyways, nice champ, I always like seeing more lighthearted champ concepts every now and then, just to break up the usual dark, violent concepts.
