Same reason why we don't have a dwarf. Riot doesn't want to make generic fantasy archetypes and instead give them their own twist to it.

Look at Warwick, for example. He represents the werewolf archetype, but in lore he technically isn't one. Instead he was a gene experiment from Singed, including genes from wolves, foxes, bats and many more...
