Omnipresent Twisted Fate: Never Play the Hand You're Dealt
Hey there my name is Hay5eed and to be at all honest you probably shouldn't be taking advice from me. I'm usually a bronze player, this season I was able to make Silver, plus I am a support main so I don't even get to play Mid lane all that often. That being said, the few times I do play mid, I play Twisted Fate, and I use this build, which I find very fun, yet I don't see this build appear that often on build guide websites like MOBAfire, or on the youtubes. Maybe they are there, maybe I haven't seen them, maybe I just kinda suck as a person. It doesn't matter, moving on.
Step 1.) Summoner's Spellbook: Phat CDR on your summoner spells plus the ability to change them midgame.
Stap 2.) Fill out the rest of the rune page: Seriously you shouldn't need my advice for this. I'm a freaking bronze player over here not a mathematician. I usually go the following though:
Summoner Spellbook (duh)
Biscuit Delivery
Magical Footwear/Future's Market (Footwear saves you 300 gold which lets you focus on your build more, but the penalty can hurt you early game if you need the extra mobility to dodge abilities in lane. Future's Market lets you buy things in advance but costs gold to do so and I don't like people stealing my monies)
Cosmic Insight: MOAR SUMMONER CDR
and then I go to Sorcery for:
The Ultimate Hat <---- This is a MUST. ESPECIALLY if you are using a skin that doesn't have a hat...TF likes his hats man
Transcendence/Celerity : Not sure which is better really. Transcendence I think is technically better but I suck at League so sometimes I take Celerity to help my dodge abilities, especially if I have taken Magic Shoes instead of Future Market.
At this point you probably know what I am doing. If you don't then let me spell it out for you (spell....get it? LIke a summoner spell?nvm)
1.) Take whatever summoner spells you want in lane (usually I take Flash and Barrier)
2.) After you hit level 6, swap your non flash ability for Teleport, pick up some Lucidity Boots too
3.) Be at two places at once.
Once your Ult Hat starts kicking in and you hit max CDR your ult will be on a 60 sec cd, give or take (hey im bronze I don't know how to count gud) and your Teleport should be around 180 secs. Ult down to bot lane, tp back to mid. Ult to top, back to base, run to mid. Tp to baron, etc. Make sure to pick up a Luden's Echo. I usually pick up a Lich Bane but sometimes I don't because I feel like I am pushing waves more than I am assassinating people so I go nomicon or Rod of the ages instead.
