LORE Piltover, a place where dreams are made true and progress towards the future is constant. Zaun, the sister city where progress is kept unchecked and questions that the weak are too afraid to ask are answered. Living beside each other, the region surrounding the two city's is the most advanced region of the entire planet of Runeterra. No region can come close to the progress made by Piltover and Zaun. However, for every advancement, there is a price to pay. For every action, there is a reaction. As the two cities progressed without much thought towards what could be coming out said progress's rear end, a terrible curse began to eat away at the land surrounding the cities. Life began to wilt and decay. The air became filled with toxins and the waters became filled with poison. The ground began to be filled with the stench of rot. Pollution had taken over the surrounding area, and its champion rose from the tides of filth to punish humanity for its unchecked progress. Known as Blight, the monster arose from the sea and began its slaughter immediately. https://img00.deviantart.net/5014/i/2014/085/f/1/hedorah_by_dynamorobo-d7bpy65.jpg Art by ACivicDilemna Forced to act, Piltover and Zaun combined forces to destroy the monster. However, it was not defeated forever. Slumbering in the deepest depths of Zaun, those who wandered such toxic regions found that Zaun itself wasn't the only reason smog filled the air within the city of Zaun. Blight, sleeping within the deepest pool of pollution of Zaun, dreams of a world corrupted beyond repair. If you were to travel near the pools of pollution, you would find the area is not extinct of life for the brief time remaining in your life. Mutated and corrupted creatures dwell near the slumbering beast, ranging from human sized rats to corpses controlled by colonies of near sentient bacteria. The region is the one of the most toxic and dangerous place to live in Runeterra, with magic itself being mutated and nullified in the beast's presence. An almost cult-like group has formed in the depths, worshiping the beast and wishing for the day when it will rise again and be the blight upon the world it was always meant to be.

GAMEPLAY PHILOSOPHY Blight is an absolute hulking behemoth that trades it all for more health. He doesn't carry about anything except his own absurd health pool and slowly chipping away at the health of enemies around him. When Blight enters a lane, the ground should quake as he stumbles towards the enemy team. However, he doesn't start off the game all that durable. While he does have the highest starting and ending base health pool, his base armor and magic resist are actually laughable, only being somewhat noticeable while his Sludge Skin shield is active. However, as the game progresses and he consumes more and more items, his health pool swiftly becomes so immense that it takes the full might of the enemy team to take down. Due to Blight's ability to quickly clear minion waves and monsters through Toxic Deluge, it may be smart to give him all gold he can get throughout the map and use a funnel strategy to quickly make him unstoppable. Otherwise, Blight can quickly clear his lane's minion wave before retreating back and doing it again and again in order to gain the gold needed to quickly become unstoppable. It may sound odd, but starting the game with four Faerie Charms will not only help with any mana issues you have pre-6, but also provide with a significant boost in health and a large shield post-6 due to the gold conversion rate of mana regeneration to bonus health and the large amount of charms you can buy with your starting gold.

Really cool concept but the numbers are pretty odd and the W passive would be really unfun to play against. He would just be a walking pile of health that does no damage but can cc opponents a little bit, so he would get destroyed by anything that can kite or deal max hp damage. he would not be very useful at all

I get the idea that with his passive...

He would have an awesome synergy with items like Abysal Mask and Sunfire Cape.

Overall a really interesting kit for a tank, would love to play a champion like this.
