Can We Get URF To Replace The Dominion Queue?
Riot wanted dominion to be a new game mode that everyone would play, that didn't work, so why not replace it with URF? Because everyone loves URF.

sure it'd be good at the beginning cause chocolate cake everyday, but it'd get boring eventually and you would stop eating it so much
Dominion was reasonably balanced despite the lack of regular Riot support. URF historically hasn't managed to go two weeks without people pointing out the balance issues. How would it manage to last even a year?
There's also target audience to consider. A significant factor in Dominion's lack of popularity was the mismatch between competitive gameplay with the casual queue. URF appeals to casual play, but so does ARAM. ARAM's also less stagnant, if only due to the randomness minimizing any champs that appear in game after game after game. URF might be fun for a while, but fans of SR's gameplay would eventually go back to SR while casual players would, at best, be split between URF and ARAM.
The true answer is that Riot should have added a permanent URF Dominion queue in place of Draft Pick and replaced Blind Pick with Blind Draft.
