Tank item concept Warlords Boneplate of Unholy Bloodlust

So i wanted an item which scales well for tanks This item would not be as effective as a randuins omen or deadmansplate in the early game or midgame but can outscale them.

These are the stats so far

Warlords Boneplate of Unholy Bloodlust 600 health Reduces physical damage by 10% Unique passive; Boneplate: Gives armor equal to 1,5% of maximum health Unique passive; Unholy Bloodlust: Whilst in combat gain increasingly more health regen up to 300% bonus health regen ramping up over 10 seconds and decaying over 10 seconds when out of combat for more then 5 seconds

The two unique passives are unique for obvious reasons, otherwise people would just stack the item, which can still be done for the damage reduction part kind of like how you can do with randuins but its not really optimal to say the least.

The ramping up health regen will allow tanks some better in combat sustain, because tanks generally have higher health regen then other champions this should also keep other champions for getting it for that reason. It's just best on tanks, and the same goes for the health scaling armor, Since tanks tend to have most health, again this item would be best on them. This should help prevent abuse cases a bit and still make this item great for tanks. Ofcoarse other champs can use it too its just slightly less effective.

To give some context, the 300% health regen from Unholy Bloodlust is about the same as spiritvisage will give you at all times. needless to say this item would synergise well with spiritvisage. As for the other passive, Boneplate, with 4000 hp you would gain 60 armor, so thats about as much as randuins gives.

Warlords Boneplate of Unholy Bloodlust synergizes very well with the following items item 3065 item 3190 item 3102 Magic resist item 3083 item 3022 item 1413 health
item 3143 item 3742 item 3068 Armor

Champions it would synergize welll with would be those who can make good use of the afore mentioned items and scale well in health and healthregen, mostly tanks and the ocassional juggernaut which is basically a tank without cc/utility but instead has damage so there is some overlap there

Anyway this is still a work in progress but i wanted to post it because i am curious what you think of it

Sounds pretty cool, but I feel like its pretty overloaded. Maybe 2 seperate items to get all those passives would be a good idea EDIT: For some reason I thought it had raw armor on it. Nevermind

Yea i didnt want to just put raw armor on it

i figured id give the item 4 stat/passive things like how most items have

but perhaps raw armor might be neccesary or possibly health regen which i might then have to substract from the passive

but that would be because of buildpath issues which i havent gotten figured out yet

This would break Mundo and possibly Volibear.

How would it break them? Just wondering why this would be?

I know both mundo and volibear get pretty tanky and have good damage. But compared to other tanks thier base stats arent as high. So most other tanks would gain more benefit from this item then these two Remember this item works of total & base stats so total health a mundo with 4000 health will get just as much armor as a gragas with 4000 health It also give up to 300% bonus health regen, but only in combat, which is pretty good but not any better then a spiritvisage

As you can see this item starts being decent to good around late midgame to lategame. I don't think it will make voli or mundo more problematic then they would already be to your team.

Also it fills an item slot so you will have to miss one of the other tank items which have differetn utilities which this one doesnt offer. What it does offer however is just a bit more bulk in combat but you will trade either slows/movespeed/tankyness/bonushealing from other sources or out of combat regen or flat health for it.

I dont think it will be problematic but perhaps im missing something

I feel if you combine this with Mundo's health regen ultimate and visage, then his healing would become completely supercharged in combat. Same with Volibear and his passive.

I'm not sure on the numbers honestly.

And sure it takes up a slot that could be used for a tank item, but it already converts a percentage of health into armor.

I like the bone plate passive and I don't mind the other one, I just don't think they should be on the same item.

will be very strong in a lategame mundo build i guess

But thats ok you normally build grievous wounds vs mundo so this supercharged regen would be cut in half.

the passives work together as a means to help this armor item outscale other armor items in a full build situation as far as raw tank stats go but this is only in the late game, meanwhile It just doesn't really provide any sort of utility like other tank items do as a trade off.

the other niche of the item is that it is the only armor item which gives incombat sustain which is very nice vs the sustained damage which most ad champions put out.

Its not as powerfull to get as a first or second item, unless you are facing predominatly ad damage in which case it can be a very strong second pickup.

it also synergizes very well with alot of the other tank items allowing for more flexible builds for tanks.

Personally i feel like this wont make mundo or voli too much more problematic but the only real way to figure that out is with playtesting i guess.
