Ellie and Link, the Timeless Twins

Ellie is a black and light brown female yordle and Link is a white and pink male yordle.

Ellie and Link are both over ten thousand years old, but to them it felt like a day went by and remain the same young age as they were. They fell into a pit one day that is a place of warped time and space, ending up absorbing the magical energy within into their blood veins and developing mystical magical powers the world has never seen before. Ellie possesses the power of life and kindness, while Link possesses the power of destruction and power, one cannot work without the other and both magic must be used in order to use either, to keep the balance in check or the magic will over take them.

When creatures just one day gain a great amount of power there will be two things that occur, they become like super heroes or they become super villains. Luckily for Runeterra is that Ellie and Link are of noble and just souls, always looking to help those in need, who knows what would have happened if a couple of pirates or void creatures would have done if they got a hold of these powers instead of two kind yordle twins.

No one knows how or why this power was formed, but maybe it was destiny for two kind-hearted yordles to find it to keep the balance of the world in checked for there may be a great evil on the rise to come...


Ellie is a bow archer and Link with twin-blades, they were trained as royal knights in a long forgotten yordle kingdom, a lot changes over 10,000 years and were not only the greatest knights of their kingdom, but all of Runeterra! Ellie would snipe her target off with her bow and arrow and Link would finish off the target or bring them to arrest.


Ellie and Link are the first true duo-champions and because of this, they are for advanced players only with a maximum difficulty to play. The two share the same health bar, but only the controlled character can be targeted and damaged. Swapping between controlled characters is through an unique resource, once it hits zero then you are forced to swap to the other character, think of it like energy but does not regenerate while using the character, just fills to full when switching to the other character.
