Summoner Pets
This is a follow up post to Summoner Pets, where the first post was well received, but I also lost sight of my original intentions of creating a cooler Summoner Spell replacement that is about having an animal companion always following you that increases player satisfaction, but has lower overall power - the player satisfaction makes it feel like it has more impact on the game than it actually has.
This system is select one Summoner Pet from a given list, just like Summoner Spells, and Flash is just implemented into the game like Recall where the default keybinding is "F" (which can obviously be bound to another key through the options). Grant a cute or cool companion that is always active that is more passive, making it easier for all players - especially new players - to learn and play the game with less button presses to worry about.
This is a whole new list of animal companions and what each animal does is drastically different than the first pass (for any duplicates).
NOTE: Ranges are based on level values, i.e. 2 - 36 is the value of level 1 to level 18.
Hunting Wolf:
Range: 550 units; Attack Range: 125 units
A Hunting Wolf will follow you around everywhere, attacking the closest enemy minion or monster to it for 40 - 160 true damage every 1.5 seconds, healing for 20 - 80 health and restoring 10 - 40 mana or energy if the target is a monster. Hunting Wolf will not execute Brambleback or Ancient Sentinel.
Hunting Wolf will execute epic monsters that are below 400 - 1000 health.
Shining Hawk:
Range: 750 units
A Shining Hawk will fly near you everywhere, occasionally striking a nearby enemy champion, applying True Sight against it for 2.5 seconds. Shining Hawk will strike a target whether it can currently see it or not.
Standing still for 1.5 seconds, without other actions, will cause your Shining Hawk to fly high in the sky, revealing the area around you past terrain and into brush equal to 40% - 120% of your sight radius.
Fruit Monkey:
Range: 600 units
When a target dies, there is a chance a Meaty Fruit or a Juicy Fruit will drop, large units will always drop a fruit. The fruit remains in play for up to 8 seconds until collected by a Fruit Monkey, any Fruit Monkey can collect the fruit. After so many attacks or ability hits against champions or epic monsters, a fruit will drop on occasion near it.
Meaty Fruit will heal for 60 plus 10% missing health and Juicy Fruit will restore 25 plus 10% missing mana or energy.
A Fruit Monkey will stay by your side everywhere, when a fruit is on the ground and near you, then your Fruit Monkey will run out and attempt to gather the fruit, delivering the fruit to the closest champion on your team near you (including self) that needs that particular fruit the most. Fruit Monkey can only hold one fruit at a time.
Scorching Phoenix:
Range: 550 units
A Scorching Phoenix flies majestically by you everywhere, striking the closest enemy champion or prioritizing enemy champions recently basic attacked every 4 seconds, dealing 50% of max shield durability and applying grievous wounds for 4 seconds.
Ferocious Bear:
Range: 700 units; Attack Range: 125 units
A Ferocious Bear stands mighty as it follows you everywhere, striking the closest enemy champion on occasion, causing the target to receive negative 10% - 35% tenacity for 3.5 seconds. Tenacity can go below 0%, causing crowd control to increase in duration against those targets, suppression is unaffected by tenacity.
Slashing Tiger:
Range: 550 units; Attack Range: 125 units
A Slashing Tiger aggressively is always ahead of you everywhere, striking the closest enemy champion every 0.4 second, exposing its wounds for 0.5 second and causing 5% - 20% of the damage of the next champion basic attack to be converted to true damage.
Evil Baboon:
Range: 650 units
An Evil Baboon will unwillingly always be by you everywhere, chucking a nut at low health enemy minions, executing them and granting you the gold. Evil Baboon will also chuck a nut at enemy champions below 120 - 600 health, executing them, this can occur once every 180 seconds.
Unfortunately, Evil Baboon is not loyal and grows bored quickly, when near (800 units) enemy champions and fail to damage or affect them every 5 seconds, then Evil Baboon chucks a nut at you, stunning for 1 second, and refuses to last hit minions and champions for you for the next 5 seconds.
Cute Penguin:
Range: 650 units; Attack Range: 325 units
Just a Cute Penguin waddling behind you everywhere, occasionally Cute Penguin will waddle up to the closest enemy champion and makes eye-to-eye contact with each other with her baby doll eyes, reducing the target's damage output by 15% - 50% for 2.5 seconds.
Cool Penguin:
Range: 700 units; Attack Range: 75 units
A Cool Penguin, he does not waddle, he belly slides in style behind you everywhere, Cool Penguin aggressively slides at the closest enemy unit, prioritizing champions, tripping them up which causes their next basic attack or targeted ability within 0.75 second to miss (and then waddles back to you, pretending no one sees him, but everyone can still see him).
If a targeted effect successfully misses that was tripped up, then Cool Penguin puts on his shades and slides back to you (instead of slowly waddle back to you).
Adorable Poro:
You have a freaking Adorable Poro that is always following you around, not much more that you need in life than this!
Adorable Poro will sometimes snuggle up to you all cute-like, causing the enemy team not to harm such an adorable act, making you untargetable for 1 second. The chances of this occurring increases the less current health that you have and the less bonus health that you have. This act of cuteness will not occur for at least the next 3 seconds once it occurs.
Every 240 seconds, Adorable Poro will heal you for 80 plus 15% of your missing health if you are below 25% health.
Badass Poro:
Range: 600 units; Bazooka Range: 600 units; Place a Bomb Range: 125 units
THE Badass Poro is kicking butt and taking names by you everywhere!
Badass Poro will run up and bomb enemy structures below 20% health, destroying it outright.
Once all 6 enemy outer towers are destroyed, Badass Poro will bomb epic monsters below 400 - 1000 health, executing it. Additionally, will attack epic monsters, dealing 120 - 180 true damage every 1.5 seconds.
When you have a takedown against every unique enemy champion, Badass Poro deals 120 - 180 true damage every 1.5 seconds against structures.
Cleansing Butterfly:
Range: 450 units
A Cleansing Butterfly flutters around you everywhere, slowly bringing down pretty sparkly glitter from her wings, granting bonus Tenacity over time, increasing the rate based on your level, up to 100% total Tenacity. This value resets to its minimum value upon being struck by enemy crowd control.
Cleansing Butterfly's glitter can grant bonus Tenacity to struck allies around you, following the same rules.
