I thought I was going to make art for a champion concept for the first time ever, but then I realized how much work that would be, and that I would probably forget. I am however going to try making lore for a champion for the first time in a while. My inspiration for the name Zarek was from the "Magic: The Gathering" card Ral Zarek. I imagine him to also resemble Ral Zarek(hence me showing the Ral Zarek image), except without the machinery on him. The inspiration for his kit came from my Magic deck that I made, that does not actually include the card Ral Zarek.

I'm sorry if the origins of magic on Runeterra are already explained somewhere. I have not read it if such a lore excerpt exists. That is why I made one.

Lore: Despite existing since the birth of magic itself, Zarek isn't actually immortal. Although many believe the tales he tells to be false, it is impossible to deny his magic powers. As he tells his story, he was there when the first mage cast a spell upon all of Runeterra. It was the first time man manipulated magic. However magnificent, man was not able to control magic yet. No one knew how use it. So the sorcerer, by mistake, cursed Runeterra. He cursed the land to a never ending cycle of death, destruction, and war. When the spell resolved and he realized what he had done, he was struck with immense guilt, and the pain of all those that would come after him swept over him. Outraged by what the sorcerer had done, and being overwhelmed by the suffering of the future people of Runeterra, he killed himself. But before he died, his brother, Zarek, swore to him. He swore that he would find a way to remove the curse, and bring peace to Runeterra. Zarek's journey continues to this day, now through the League of Legends he searches for a way to end the curse, and end the cycle of brutality that still plagues Runeterra.

I could extend on his lore a bit more but I think that's good. And hey if there are conflicts the lore team is butchering the lore already on their own so it's not like this lore would hurt it anymore.

Base stats: only important thing is - Ranged: 600 His auto attack comes out insanely fast. Lightning goes out of his hand to strike his target. Attack speed and base AD can be lower to compensate.

Passive(innate): Gift of the Eternal - Whenever Zarek uses an ability, the next auto attack or ability within a few seconds will deal bonus magic damage equal ? + ?% of Zarek's AP. This can stack up to five times before being used. Upon dying, Zarek enters a stasis at the location of his death. He is immobile and can't do anything, but he gives vision. The first part of the passive is his main source of damage. It is where the influence of my deck comes in. Dealing damage indirectly from your abilities. The second part might sound really good, but it's really just like placing a ward down before you die, but the enemies know that it's there. The idea is that Zarek doesn't actually die.

Q: Hold Back - PASSIVE: Zarek's auto attacks deal extra magic damage (?+?%AP). ACTIVE: Zarek summons a lightning orb to silence for 1 second and deal magic damage (?+?%AP)to target enemy. This is his only non-ult damaging ability. Medium cooldown and mana cost.

W: Last Forever - PASSIVE: Zarek heals for a percentage of the damage he takes(?+?%AP)(calculated before resistances). ACTIVE: For one second Zarek is immune to disables and damage(Passive still applies heal). Full AP builds could gain maybe 20-25% of health back. Tanky builds would still take more damage than they would gain. High mana cost and high cooldown.

E: Speed of the Everlasting - PASSIVE: Zarek gains % movement speed(?+?%AP) ACTIVE: Zarek dashes in target direction. Each time Zarek uses this it within a certain amount of time it costs more mana, stacking. Full AP can get like 15-20% movespeed from the passive. 1 second cooldown, low to very high mana cost.

R: Rage of 10,000 years - ACTIVE: Zarek unleashes a massive cone of magic in front of him, dealing magic damage(?+?%AP) to all enemies hit. High mana cost and cooldown.

Thoughts?

His W passive seems to be a bis op but as long as the ratios are kinda low and maybe make his auto attacks scale by AP? Also elaborating on the stasis after death thing would be nice but other than that a great idea, good job!
