The extra voice is so much more than Ezreals, with a lot of parallels, and the visuals aren't even comparable.
I'm thinking it's time for an update to Pulsefire Ezreal.

MrWasjig8 votesWell that's not difficult, there are several cheaper skins that are better than PF Ezreal. Because PF Ezreal is several years old at this point and is seriously lacking for it's price in this day and age of upgraded tech at Riot's disposal. I don't own it, but I feel bad for the people that do because it's kind of a trash skin in comparison to so many other, more recent skins that are cheaper with better models, textures, sounds, VFX and voice clips i.e. anything in the PROJECT skin line (plus several more, too many to mention).
Pulsefire Ezreal definitely needs to see an update, it even pales in comparison to the other Ultimate skins. Heck even Spirit Guard Udyr looks better. It's a huge shame really since PFE has lots of potential.

If they ever update him visually (again), you can bet your ass they'll update that skin to be worthy of the price tag, but you're asking Riot to stop all their production for someone who isn't at all a priority. You want to disregard all the other champions who have skins planned, just so you can feel not cheated for a skin you/someone bought near the beginning of the game?

Honestly, Pulsefire Ezreal is extremely dated. It need a complete VU, IMHO. I have it and I don't think I've been more disappointed in a skin. The animations are colored blue instead of yellow, his voicelines are changed somewhat (and are much lamer), and he gets a DBZ reference as his taunt. That's about it.
A complete overhaul is in order for our favorite Pulse-Feeder EZ-For-Real.

Gixia1 votesNo, they don't, and if you're expecting one I'm sorry to break it to you but it's never going to happen. If you want proof, look no further than all the legendary skins that are WAY older than Pulsefire Ez and never got a VU. Annie in Wonderland, Red Baron Corki, Firefighter Tristana, Magnificent Twisted Fate, Alien Invader Heimerdinger, etc. All those skins are legendary skins that today would not even compare to a 975 skin. The only ones that have gotten VUs are Firefighter Tristana and Alien Invader Heimerdinger, and that's because Tristana and Heimerdinger themselves got VUs, and even then, those skins still don't really qualify as Legendary. They retired them rather than VU them.
Hell, look at Legendary skins that are older than PFE and are still for sale right now, like Gentleman Cho'Gath, Bloodlord Vladimir. Gatekeeper Galio, etc. These skins ALSO don't even compare to 975 skins today, and again, none of them are getting a VU until their respective champion does.
Skins do not get VUs until their champion does. They will not make an exception for Pulsefire Ezreal, nor should they.

If you're buying the skin now, you know what you're getting, and it's either worth it for you anyways and you but it, or it's not worth it and you don't buy it. If you already bought it way back in the day, then you got to play with the skin when it was the fanciest thing around, just like anybody who bought an old legendary got to play with that when it was the fanciest thing around. The skin hasn't changed. It hasn't become worse. New skins are just better. Welcome to life, where technology progresses and continue to improve. People with a 5 year old computer don't go to the computer manufacturer and demand they make their old computer better for free. You don't buy a toy 5 years ago and demand that it be made better because newer toys have more gimmicks. You either go out and buy a new one or you accept what you've got.
The amount of time and effort it would take to give Pulsefire Ezreal a VU now could instead be spent making a brand new Ultimate skin, ESPECIALLY since when Ezreal himself eventually gets a VU, they would have to VU Pulsefire Ezreal AGAIN.

Although seriously, I think that the biggest problem with project EZ is the ability animations. I haven't seen one in a while, but last I checked the skin just recolored his spells, and made him look cooler. They should do something with his actual spells to make it more worth 3150.

But yeah, in retrospect; not really sure if I've gotten my ~1100 EUR worth of this game (including PAX Sivir, Silver Kayle, and Rito Fist Bump ward skin) .
Which is why I really prefer older games, from the generations that weren't reliant on the internet: if a server goes down, so what? I can still play. My modem goes up in smoke? Who cares, I can still play.

Thing about microtransactions is they are almost predatory in nature. I met this guy playing pokemon go at some pokestop thing, and he was throwing down these pokemon lures nonstop because they were "only a dollar."

And there's a LOT of champs on the list to get an update before Ez, so...

As mentioned before the older legendary skins that are Legacy, are all still 1820 and really come with nothing more then a visual difference for the characters. Firefighter Trist is an exception as it was updated to have some better visuals and sounds, but the rest don't come with new animations, effects, voice over, ect that you find in the current generation of legendary skins, so they won't do that for those, they will not do it for an ultimate.
The prices stay the same as they always have, unless the skin was released and didn't suit the tier it was placed in under their on judgement. Like they did with Wildfire Zyra, Arcade Sona, ect and moved them around to tiers that better suited them. However, since then they haven't had to do this.
All existing skins stay priced as what they are until they go on sale (all skins including legendary released from Dragon Trainer Trist and beyond only apply).

Stop comparing it to Legacy and Legendary skins. I hope no one buys Pulsefire at its current price, because compared to other ULTIMATE skins that have since been released, it's an absolute ripoff.
