For Fun Concept: Miss Fortune

This is just me wanting to make an unique marksman concept of taking two different guns and forming this type of bursty marksman that is more than just right-click-to-win. For current Miss Fortune, more than press R to win.


Attack Range: 575 units Movement: 335 units per second Attack Speed: 0.675 +4% per level Attack Damage: High


Shock and Awe (Passive):

Shock: Miss Fortune's right hand gun is Shock, and after firing it empowers Awe, her left hand gun, for its next attack within 2 seconds. Shock deals 75% damage for all damage.

Awe: Can only be fired within 2 seconds after Shock, dealing 140% damage for all damage.

Double Tap (Q):

Cooldown: 4 seconds; Cost: 25/30/35/40/45 mana; Range: 575 units

Miss Fortune fires two bullets at the target enemy with her currently active gun, dealing either 50/55/60/65/70% damage each bullet for Shock or 76/82/88/94/100% damage each bullet for Awe, swapping use to the other gun afterwards. These follow the same rules as basic attacks.

Strut (W):

Static Cooldown: 0.5 second; Cost: 25 mana; Range: 150 units

Miss Fortune dashes with her hips a short distance. Dashing to her left if Shock is available and dashing to her right if Awe is available.

Passive: Miss Fortune can do a strut every 11/10/9/8/7 seconds, up to a maximum of 2 times.

Additionally, Miss Fortune gains up to 60/75/90/105/120 movement speed over 8 seconds of not taking champion or tower damage. Casting Strut instantly grants full power afterwards.

Bullet Rain (E):

Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds; Cost: 65/70/75/80/85 mana; Range: 800 / 250 units / 45 degrees

Shock: While Shock is available, Miss Fortune rains down bullets at the target location over 2 seconds, dealing 80/120/160/200/240(+100%AP) magic damage over the duration and slowing enemies by 30/40/50/60/70%. Swaps to Awe.

Awe: While Awe is available, Miss Fortune rains out bullets in a cone in the target direction, dealing 60/90/120/150/180(+75%AP) magic damage and rooting enemies for 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds. Swaps to Shock.

Bullet Time (R):

Cooldown: 40/30/20 seconds; Cost: 40/55/70 mana; Range: 1000 units

Miss Fortune fires out two shots at the same time toward the mouse cursor, one from Shock's location and the other from Awe's Location.

Shock's bullet deals (+25/30/35%AD)(+30%AP) physical damage and reduces Bullet Time's cooldown if it hits an enemy champion or epic monster by 60/75/90%. Awe's bullet deals (+150/165/180%AD)(+70%AP) physical damage and passes through all enemies in its path.

These attacks can critically strike.


UPDATE NOTES (1):

Strut: "Dash" range decreased to 150 from 250 units Recharge time increased to 11/10/9/8/7 from 10/9/8/7/6 seconds Maximum additional movement speed increased to 60/75/90/105/120 from 50/60/70/80/90

(Definitely want to make sure Miss Fortune is a high damage, but very immobile, marksman so now the combined two dashes have a shorter range than 1 Vayne tumble with slightly less frequent amounts. So mostly will be used to grant maximum Strut speed quickly and aid in dodging skill shots.)

This is an interesting take on an MF rework/design. I like it for the fact that you took Love Tap's terrible mechanic of swapping targets and put it to good use with swapping guns. I don't think MF needs a dash, imo, but I like the one you came up with. Taking away Love Tap would help her so much with dives and dueling that I think she'd be fine still being immobile.

I liked her rework for a bit, but Love Tap never felt right. It took way too much of her power budget and was a weird mechanic on a champion who was a pretty good duelist before her rework that turned her into a terrible duelist. I actually enjoyed her more before the rework. I think just giving her actual scaling and swapping Impure Shots with Strut would have been enough. Taking grievous wounds away was sad, but understandable (I think?), but I liked her magic damage splash she had. Reworking Impure Shots to work on her abilities would have been an easy and thematic way to bring her up to speed.

I doubt they'll do anything about her. They seem to forget she's a champion a lot of the time unless she's out of line because of runes or item changes. I remember all the nerfs she got because Thunderlords was busted. And then Armor Pen/Lethality. And then Aery/Comet.

But we can hope?
