[ULTIMATE SKIN IDEA] Champion Fiora

So, since Elementalist Lux was released a year ago, I was thinking about which champion should get an ultimate skin. It should be a toplaner for sure to complete the Ultimate team. I suddenly realized that Fiora is a pretty good damn candidate, and here's why:

CHAMPION/CHALLENGER/QUEEN OF THE ARENA FIORA

  • You start at rank 0
  • When you kill an unique enemy champion, you go up by one level, rank 5 being the highest, and when you become the Grand Duelist/Queen of the Arena
  • The higher the rank, the more visually complex the skin becomes
  • Each rank will have different recall animations, different icons, different particles and maybe different quotes (for rank 5 at least)
  • The skin would come with a built-in emote which will show your current rank

I want to be honest: it sounds a bit lackluster.

Over the years, the ultimate skins became more complex over time and giving you many different forms.

Ezreal had linear progression (just like this skin suggestion), Sona then had 3 forms to switch between with a cast. Udyr had 4 forms changing over time with skill ranks. And then we had Elementalist Lux with her 10 forms to chose from.

I want them to progress it further, giving us something new and with an interesting mechanic to evolve. Evolving linearly with kills would feel like a step back in my opinion. No interesting progression mechanic, extremely limited visual customization... I would be disappointed by this.

I see where you're coming from, but I think there are some points you haven't taken into consideration.

While it'd be less customizable than the others, she can potentially have the most forms in a single game, with a total of 6 forms. Elementalist Lux and DJ Sona have 3 forms in a game, SG Udyr has 4 and Ezreal is, well, level-based. The progression mechanic may be restrictive, but it's skill-based, which is already pretty unique. The player has to defeat all 5 enemies in order to become the Grand Duelist. In the meantime the skin gradually becomes more and more detailed and visually rich.

And keep in mind that the more isn't always the better. If the forms will be qualitative enough, I'm sure it'd be worth it.

THe outfit is gorgeous but it looks more akin to a Victorious skin. If only they made good quality V.Skins though...

Regardless, since it's skill based, this seems like a pretty good idea but it should propably need an extra feature to complement the "pushing the limits of our tech" area.

Yeah the art piece is just a slight idea of what I was thinking about. (And I'd kill for it to be a Victorious skin)

And yeah, besides the emote, there could be something more. Haven't thought much about it.

As of Season 5, the V.Skins don't feel prestigious at all. They look like fun skins at best because of how stupid Maokai and Graves look. Sivir's was fine though.

I don't know..the teasers are great and set the dark serious theme of these victorious warriors but the in-game is like a cardboard cut out these past few skins.

Would that concept not make more sense on Rengar regarding he already has the "kill unique champs" on his kit? Also would be kinda lackluster in 3v3 modes and there would be ofc needed another level for hexakill. Alternativly Kidnred has this hunthing theme too, but she is more about raw number and not unique targets, so rengar realy suits the ebst.

While it's true that Rengar fits more gameplay-wise, this skin is more of a flawless duelist challenging anyone in their path to become the best rather than a trophy hunter stalking their prey. Also keep in mind that the Ultimate skin will probably be for an exclusive toplaner, where Rengar tends to be more of a cheesy pick.

Fiora, indead, needs a more badass skin like dawnbringer Riven Her skins get preaty boring after u play on her 50+ games, and her Animations in skins such as Project:Fiora aren't the cleaner. Cool idea hope this get to riot.
