Crylium is an Idea I had to make a champion that is a mix of tank, mage and assassin, Support.

I might overdo this because my imagination is like that sometimes. Not focused on stats just the idea of it. Crylium is a god slayer, who can do all things. I wanted to create a champion who could be played In every role, Top, JG, Mid, Bot, or Support. This is what I came up with.

God Sphere: The champions name is crylium, a god slayer, he uses an object called a god sphere that interacts with crylium allowing him to do incredible things, even slay a god.

God Rope: Apart of cryliums W ability, allows him to drag and stun targets

God Whip: Apart of cryliums passive, allows crylium to gain increased range and deal true damage.

Champion Appearance: (Incomplete)

Abilities: Q Crylium's Q scales on tank itemization (Armor, Mr & Health). Crylium jumps forward in any 360 degree direction, while he is air born he is untargetable, when he lands he slams the ground dealing physical Damage and becomes stationary and cant move for 0.5 seconds (while he takes his fist out of the ground) and is now target-able, After slamming the ground his god sphere appears and he Gains a shield (Armor and MR) that replaces all missing health for 0.5 seconds, All enemies in radius are slowed and suffer grievous wounds. Replenishes energy based on damage dealt. (Can Jump Over Walls)

W1 W2 (2 parts to Cryliums W like akali's E and R) Crylium's W Scales on Max Health, (like vlad, his max health converts into ability power). Crylium uses his energy to summon a God Sphere. Crylium's W1 gains movement speed, Crylium's W2 (Skill Shot like lux stun or morgana stun) whips out a god rope from his God sphere, aiming at up to 2 targets dealing AP Damage, slightly dragging and then stuns them. Stuns cast separately, aiming each one individually, If only one enemy champion is in the area, only one stun is available, If 2 enemy champions are in the area, a second stun becomes available. Landing stuns decreases the cooldown of W by half. Toggling target champion only on allows W2 to be cast through minion waves, when target champion only is off minions take dmg,

E Crylium's E Is active when targets in the area reach half health (Like Warwicks E), Crylium summons God Sphere and is illuminated by his God Sphere, Crylium senses low health targets and gains tenacity and attack speed dealing increase physical damage to low health targets. This ability can not be used unless targets are at least half health.

R Crylium's R is a Global Ult Like (soraka and karthus) That also scales on max HP, Crylium Uses God sphere to help his team. Crylium and his team gain a shield, and gain tenacity for 1 second.

Passive After every 3rd auto Crylium takes his god whip out of the god sphere increasing his attack range and deals true damage. (Also effects minions, monsters, epic monsters)

I imagine his completed build be something like this. Sounds perfectly fitting for modern League He should be additionally a Marksman though and I hope the ult true dmg scales with max hp, too.

I Love it! You can actually play the champion in any role, great buffs and debuffs. Pretty cool kit that deals damage has sustain and helps the team out quite a bit. And I like the idea of the god sphere and how it interacts with the champ. I hope they make your champ man.

So, this is a major warning sign. Tanks are defined by their low damage and high utility. Assassins are defined by their high damage and low utility. These are as opposite as two roles in League can get, so I'm wary of anything trying to do both. I haven't yet seen anything attempt this that I feel is well designed.

Another place where more lore could be beneficial. League doesn't have many gods (although it has a lot of demi-deities), but both Aatrox and Pantheon already occupy this space.

So, this is a lesson in clear ability presentation. Before this, we didn't even known Crylium used energy. Try this:

Unnamed Ability [Q] Crylium leaps to target location, becoming untargetable until he lands and then rooting himself for 0.5 seconds while gaining a shield equal to his missing health while rooted. Enemies around the target area take physical damage, are slowed, and suffer Grevious Wounds.

That's shorter and easier to parse without losing information.

That said, you're making this ability do too much, and it's awkward at it. The missing health shield implies this is an ability you want to save, but it's your gapcloser and (it seems) your main combat ability. Grevious Wounds also seems tacked on somewhat arbitrarily, as that's often a mechanic you want more responsive so you can use it when you want to. Exceptions exist, of course, but I'm not sure this should be one.

Meanwhile, you short-change your shield, making it huge but only useful for very specific nukes, which again pushes this into "specific niche ability" and encourages you to save it, which seems unintentional. The untargetability serves a similar purpose of niche power you're encouraged to save.

Instead, I'd recommend this:

Unnamed Ability [Q] Crylium becomes unstoppable as he leaps to target location. When he lands nearby enemies take physical damage and are slowed. Crylium gains a shield for 2 seconds upon landing, increased if he strikes an enemy champion and further increased if he is below 40% of his total health.

This has similar gameplay and preserves a bit of niche utility by making your engage harder to stop, but cuts some of the more complicated features in favor of making it more of a spell you simply want to use -- while rewarding uses later in fights once you've taken damage. Extending the shield duration means that you're a bit less concerned about saving it.

Another ability clarification:

First Cast: Crylium gains movement speed. For the next 4 seconds he may cast Whip once, and he may cast it a second time if there is more than one nearby enemy champion.

Second Cast [Whip]: Crylium fires out a line in the target direction, dealing physical damage. The first unmarked enemy champion struck is pulled a short distance towards him, marked for 4 seconds, and briefly stunned.

Now, there are two elements I removed here and one I added, and I'll explain why.

  • Reducing the cooldown by half on a stun.
  • Not able to stun the same target again.
  • Removing "Target Champion Only."

I removed the cooldown reduction because you could get 100% CDR, which means you permanently stun-lock people. Not good. I added being unable to stun the same target for similar reasons -- if the goal is to encourage people to hit multiple targets, we'll just do that by making you lose utility if you don't. I also removed Target Champion Only because it's unclear to the enemy whether it's on or not, and we can instead just make it a line that pulls the first enemy struck.

This is a really weird ability to see on this kit. It's not a tank ability, an assassin ability, a mage ability, or a support ability. It's possibly some sort of brawler ability, but you don't really want to build AS for anything but your ultimate, and this is a rather bland steroid. I think you can do more with this ability space.

Another one that feels ill-fitted. We're not really a tank -- we have a slow and one form of hard CC. We're not really an Assassin, as we don't have a ton of damage. This makes us a bit of a Support, sure, but 1 second of Tenacity isn't great, and this is basically Soraka's ultimate again rather than something a bit more unique to your character. We also don't feel like a God Slayer, as all we really do is jump at a guy, use some melee weapons, and shield people.

Depending on the true damage percentage dealt, this is fine -- but doesn't seem to mesh well with his kit. It's basically just +damage, which can be done any number of ways, and actually encourages building Attack Speed, which is a poor stat for tanks, supports, mages, AND assassins.
