Instead of Prestige: ---> Prestige Variants <----
Basically in the short of it, my idea is officially making Prestige skins count as Variant skins.
However it'll work a little different than normal.
#If you have the base skin, and you're getting Prestige Variant: If you have the base skin and are working your way up to buying the prestige variant, it'll deduct 20 Prestige Points from the total Prestige Point cost. Ex. If you have bought Blood Moon Aatrox, you only need 80 Prestige Points to get him Prestige. Meaning players who gain the points over time still have the Variant discount coming from the variant skin. ( And when looking at Solar / Lunar Leona as well as what counts as variant, All Prestige Skins fall under variants. )
#If you have the Prestige Variant Skin, and you're getting Base: If you have the Prestige Variant Skin and you're getting the Base skin, the skin is discounted by only 20%. Equal to the discount of the Prestige Variant. To some it may rub off as unfair price balancing between a 50 - 130 dollar skin against a 10 - 12 dollar skin, but this price reduction is also going for those who have gotten Prestige Variants from chests. To discount it to 742 from 1350 when the Variant only costed 80% of it's price or free from chests would harm Riot's income more than expected.
#Why does K/DA Prestige Variants not qualify?: K/DA Prestige Variant skins do not qualify solely because it changes both the model and the visual effects. Not one or the other like Pajama Guardians and Prestige Blood / Firecracker. They are also specially done as the first Prestige skins, to attract more attention to the Prestige skins themselves. No other Prestige Variant Skins will come out with model changes such as the Prestige K/DA Variant skins. These few skins are one-of-a-kind to the Prestige Variant line. This combination of model and effects changed will only happen on normal Variant Legendary skins from here on out.
