[Champion Concept] Orion, the Tech Commando
I've had some downtime at work over the past few months and spent a lot of my idle moments designing league champs. I have around 20 champs now pretty well laid out. I am going to begin posting them in hopes that someone from Riot takes notice as i would love to be a champion designer for Riot.
I am trying my hand at all roles and varying levels of difficulty/complexity. All the numbers are just things i threw together and although i did attempt to make things relatively balanced i'm positive the numbers could use some work. Also, i do have lore for many of the champs but have decided to not include it in favor of post brevity.
#Orion - The Tech Commando
Game Role: AD mid spellcaster
P: Rocket Boots: -- | no cost | 400/550 unit dash After three spell casts Orion will use his rocket boots to do a short dash on his next move command. If he is going in the direction of an active Gravity Orb his dash will go further and consume the charge.
Q: Gravity Orb[3]: 40/50/60/70/80(+50% AD) | 800 range | 14/13/12/11/10s cooldown | 20% slow in a 350 aoe | 50 mana Orion shoots a Gravity Orb that will damage the first enemy struck. The orb will float in place where it hits an enemy or when it reaches max distance. Active orbs will have a slowing field around them that will stack if their fields overlap. Each orb will stay active for 7 seconds or until it attracts one other piece of Orion's equipment. Can store 3 Gravity Orbs.
W: Shock Disc: 8/16/24/32/40(+20% AP), 40/80/120/160/200(+100% AP) total | 650 cast range | 1000 range(bonus dmg) | 16/14/12/10/8s cooldown | 40/45/50/55/60 mana Orion shoots out an electrically charged disc. It will stick to the first enemy unit hit and deal damage every 0.75s for 3.75s. If the disc gets too far from Orion the damage will be increased by 50% and it will do a mini-stun on each pulse. Shock Disc is not attracted by Gravity Orbs but if an active orb is hit directly by Shock Disc it will attach itself to the Gravity Orb. This will cause the higher damage and ministun to happen in an aoe around the Gravity Orb(regardless of Orion's position) while using the active charge on it.
E: Tactical Vest: -- | 10/15/20/25/30 AMR/MR increase | 600 cast range | 16s cooldown | 40 mana(first active, 2nd is free) Passive - Increases Orion's AMR and MR Active - Orion launches his Tactical Vest in front of himself and it will attach to the first enemy champion struck. Reactivating this ability will drag the enemy champion to the nearest active Gravity Orb. If no enemy champion is hit by Tactical Vest, Orion himself will be dragged to the nearest active Gravity Orb. Orion will lose the passive AMR and MR from the time he uses the first cast on this ability until it is off cooldown.
R: Destruction Ball: 150/250/350(+50% AD) | 1000 range | 120/100/80s cooldown | 100 mana Orion creates a large spiked ball of metal and launches it in target direction dealing damage to all enemy units in its path. Orion can reactivate Destruction Ball to attract it to the nearest active Gravity Orb at any time for more paths of destruction. While Destruction Ball is idle it will block unit pathing. If Destruction Ball remains idle for 5 seconds it will disappear and the cooldown will begin.
