Hi everyone! So, I have a brand new champion for you! Her name is Lynima, the Waverider. (Lie-knee-mah)

Here we go, basics:

Homeland: Unknown, presumed to be Ionia.

Friends: Allies: Nautilus Rivals: Nami, Fizz

Lane: MID or offensive support. Class: Mage

Okay, those are her basics. I just learned how to that box thing to tidy things up. I think it looks nice. Anyways, let's get to her powers, shall we?

Powers

Passive: Waverider

Lynima creates a stream as she moves throughout the map. If Lynima walks backwards on a created trail, she gains passive ms. This ms also grants some vision. (Working out numbers). She also gains this ms if walking through the river in the jungle or her Puddles.

Q: Torrential Rains

Range: 975

Mana: 55/75/95/105/125

Lynima marks an area to become marked with a rain cloud. This rain cloud deals damage per second to people who are hit by the rains. This rain damage marks the area under with Underdrift, which is just an AoE slows that keeps reapplying while under the cloud. If you leave the cloud, the slow lasts 1 second. The slow is worth 20/25/30/35/40%. The damage it deals is 20/25/30/35/40 (+ 0 AD and 30% of AP) to (+ 0 AD and 35% AP) depending how much health her enemy has when she casts this. Less damage for more health, more damage for less health. The cloud lasts 2.5 seconds.

Note: After an Underdrift expires it go dormant and becomes a Puddle. They expire after the spell ends.

Cool down: 9/8/7/6/5 seconds

Puddles last 10 seconds.

W: Whirlpool

Range: 1000

Mana: 65/80/95/110/125

Lynima creates a swirling pool under a target. This pool lasts 2 seconds, deals damage upon summon and closing, and roots targets, and can be closed early. The damage it deals upon being created is 50/90/130/170/210 + (0 AD and 35% AP) magical with 40/70/100/130/160 (+ 0 AD and 15% AP) when closing. You deal more damage for a full-grown whirlpool when closing (10/12/14/16/18% more). Also, the root lasts 6/7/8/9/10% longer. It takes the duration to become full-sized, so 2 seconds. Enemies who remain in the pool after closing, are rooted for .75/1/1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds. (This power also makes Puddles)

Cool down: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds

E: Skipping Stone

Range: 850

Mana: 85 (all levels)

Lynima gains the ability to skip between her Puddle. Once she teleports to a Puddle it disappears, but also fires a quick water spike to the nearest target (targets champions) near her Puddle. The spike deals 50/75/100/125/150 (+ 0 AD and 55% of AP)

Cool down: 4/3.5/3/2.5/2 seconds

R: From the Depths

Range: 250

Attack Range: 650

Mana: 100

Lynima has the power to summon a Water Elemental from the Ocean. This Water Elemental can be controlled in the same way that Tibbers is. The Water Elemental is a Sea Dragon (ranged). Every 3rd attack the Sea Dragon does, heals Lynima for 10% of her missing health. Also, the Sea Dragon creates Puddles with every attack and generates a larger stream for Lynima.

If the Sea Dragon dies, he generates 3 Puddles in a line around him. One on the left, one on the right, one where he died.

If the Sea Dragon isn't killed, he dies after 10 seconds, and then creates Puddles.

Cool down: 120/110/100 seconds

Stats

Health: 590 (+85 per level) Health Regen: 5.05 (+0.6 per level) Attack Speed: 0.625 (+1.4% per level) Attack Damage: 56.422 (+3.6 per level) Armor: 19.02 (+4.1 per level) Magic Resist: 30 (+0 per level)

Lore

Not much is know of the mysterious woman who appears on the shores of the great nations of the world. Only rumors fill the streets. Some believe her to be a lost spirit of a woman who lost her life to the waves, while other believe her to be the oceans in a human form. Yet, none know the truth, none desire to know the truth of the woman they named Lynima.

Because to know the truth, they'd have to approach the mysterious woman... and that can be as dangerous as braving a hurricane.

P: No need to specify she walks backwards unless you want her to moonwalk :P Gives her some MS to escape and roam and does so very thematically. Only problem I have is that Taliyah's passive has a very similiar premise.

Q: Needs some number fixes, but otherwise fine. The puddles could last a bit longer so you can actually use them to chase or kite.

W: Currently the potential of 10% extra damage compared to a full duration root seems uninteresting as guarenteed CC is much more important combined with Q and allies. A much bigger damage increase or CC scaling with size would make growing the pool more of an option. How long do this puddles last?

E: No CD seems a bit too good, especially since Lynima can focus entirely on escape and mobility, since she doesn't need to get near to her enemies with her range. Nearest target (range?) should prioritize champion unless you want it to be countered hard by minions.

R: Compared to Daisy, Tibbers, Mordes Drake and The Maiden, the Water Elemental feels rather lackluster. Maybe make the Dragons attack generate Puddles as well to give it more synergy with her kit.

Was afraid she would conflict with Nami, but this is a very interesting approach and concept [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
