Jungle Items Concept

With the third iteration of a jungle item for mages nearing, it seems to me that this jungle item experiment has not been as successful as hoped. Instead of modifying an existing enchantment with the inevitable result of satisfying the needs of some champions while ignoring others, what if jungle item enchantments were made by combining preexisting items with a jungle item for slot efficiency. For example, Trinity Force would combine with Tracker's Knife, Lich Bane with Skirmisher's Saber, or Sunfire Cape with Stalker's Blade. In theory, any preexisting tier 3 item could be combined with a jungle item so that every champion can focus on buying the items they most benefit from. A system like this could replace the need for a unique group of tier 3 jungle items, and everyone gets to be happy.

The issue with this is that junglers end up taking even longer to get their power online. Jungle items are surprisingly cost-efficient compared to most other items, and that's what enables a jungler to have a mid-game despite spending money on non-combat stats to survive the jungle.

Porting that onto other items ends up pushing that mid-game back, as you don't have the efficiency spike that a jungle item would otherwise create.
