We Need Customizable Champion Groupings in Lobby

Sometimes I get into queue, get put into a role, and think to myself, "Alright I know I have a dozen champions that would work for an AP top." I browse around the hundreds of champions patiently as the timer slowly ticks down. "This one could work, but I feel like there is someone better..." The clock reaches its final moments of life tick tick tick and I panic click on something that I probably didn't even want.

I really wish there was a tab in the client next to "runes" "masteries" "items" that would allow me to group champions as I see fit so that I can easily access them in game.

Another example would be grouping champions that I feel very comfortable on away from other champions. I may own 80 champs, but I probably only am good at several of them. If I could make a group so that I could filter out all the others and put real thought into my champion selection rather than frantically shuffling through the rest, I would be very happy. I think it would increase the actual strategic value of champion select. Thoughts?
