Well there's a leak out there from awhile back about Ekko that says he's a time based champion http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/34z1cz/possible_new_champion_ekko/cqzg9jd so it's possible he could be something to do with time.

and well Ekko, you can clearly tell the name is still pronunced Echo even without the meaning.
