The Darkin. Who could be the FOURTH??

Personally i feel like the darkin are really cool, i like the champs chosen so far and their lore. I love the concept of having the weapons take over a person's soul.

And with Riot reworking or updating champions it would be cool to see another darkin emerge. It would be cool to see a brand new concept for a darkin later on however I do feel there is one champion presently in league with a dead lore ( A lore that doesn't offer much creative reach and expression) that could be replaced for a lore as a darkin.

The champion is Nocturne.

As an eternal nightmare no much can be said about him since no one knows where he is from or who created him and nothing else can pretty much be said about other than he terrorizes people.

So it would be a pretty cool concept if Nocturne were human before but has been completely lost to the darkin (uniquely this darkin was two weapons, not one. the two blades nocturne has.)

Basically he may not have been consumed in its entirety had he only kept one blade but due to his greed and lust for, either vengeance or blood, he took both thinking he could control it. (he couldnt) and was consumed, his bloodlust is was feeds the blades.

Anyway thats my idea for a Nocturne Lore update [slayer-jinx-catface]

pretty much eve (not a darkin, but she does have a darkin feeling to her).

but that would be pretty cool, and it could have a lot of hype as the last darkin maybe [sg-jinx]

I'd say Nocturne is a demon like Evelynn who feeds on fear. His new bio literally says he feeds on terror.

The person could have been in a situation where he needed the power of both blades, and accepted the risks associated with the blades because of it.

For sure, but I think his lore would be more interesting as a blood feeding creature. simply because there isn't much creative reach when dealing with something like nightmares.(undefined and unspecific)

The darkins seem to transform their hosts, making them still have human like features at the end. So I doubt a darkin that has no feet will ever be a thing

That depends, what happens to a darkin soul, do they simply die or do they achieve an afterlife of sorts (we dont know much about darkins, we only know that 5 are alive) and if a darkin were to die after having consumed their host, what happens?

And nocturne is a soul (of sorts) that was fused into a physical form, (its for this reason he has no feet), and could have gotten the weapon afterwards.

As in a living soul got consumed by a darkin and that could have been the creation of nocturne

As a nocturne main its hard to see him as a darkin, i mean his blades feel more artificial like than living weapon like(No muscle like features on his blade etc.), the darkins all represent something that goes along the lines of wrath(circle 5)Varus is vengeance(sullenness, anger kept to yourself),Rhaast is Death(Both wrath and sullenness, maybe) and Aatrox is war(Wrath, anger expressed freely), While Nocturne is more towards fear and agony rather than enraging

this is where a VGU comes in, because when you think of eternum nocturne, you get something quite similar, and if you look at varus bow, there isnt much alive about it. kayn's scythe has an eyeball thats pretty much it. Nocturne's blades can be retracted (so they could make them "alive")

but this is all to say its a cool concept

it probably wont happen anyway, (since varus was just released as a darkin)

But i do definitely want to see more visual changes to nocturne and his quotes kind of suck,

His quotes are SO dated, reason why i stopped playing him. Not only was his vgu becoming retro like jax and pantheon but his play style is becoming more passive, so yeah, but your idea could be a skin aswell (just imagine a darkin skinline though!) have a good day, been a long time since ive seen someone not hate me for stating my opinion [sg-soraka]

It would be nice to have a demais darkin... yesterday i thought about It and created zheela, the feared chains! The heapon in wich she is trapped is a bunch of chains (but they are muscle-like) with 5 teeth spreading across the chain... since aatrox and rhaast are focused on self-healing, I thought zheelaa would be more focused in healing the others (wich turns her to a suport! Her passive would be some kind of zilean passive, she collects souls (or something like that) she can later upgrade her Q wich i am going to talk about in a sec. her Q: she would Make the chains order in some kind of stance and she would shoot them, if it hit, the enemy champ would be stunned and depending on ally or zheelaa’s hp, she would select someone and then heal them (she can move after shooting the weapon) with the passive upgrades, you will be able to choose if you want to heal more, do more dmg or have more mobility (ex: get mov.speed if she hits) her W: passive- after getting a stack from your passive, your next Q would cause the chains to come back after hitting but in a Diana Q like form from both sides ( this would root for 0.5 s and dmg) zheelaa’s E: zheelaa jumps in a target direction, once she lands, she will take some hp from the target(s) and her next Q would heal a bit more ( does not stack with W passive, if W passive is on, It will proritize the E passive and vice versa to W) her R: zheelaa shoots her chains at a wall then she will surf in that direction (can be recast if hits an enemy champion while connecting with the wall and will deal damage) zheelaa’s R is a medium cooldown ability (about 30s CD). If you like the design reply and if you don’t reply too with some ideas to turn It better.

When a champion needs a change, what ever feels better for the champ should be the choice, however i do agree that thatw ould suck

hence why i said maybe noc would be the 4th but the last darkin HAS to be a new champion, or else you lose all the hype for the last darkin
