Anax is a male dog champion, looks similar to our world's standard poodle, is pure white (wool so shiny it almost looks silver) with golden patches at only a height of 152 cm (roughly 5'1"). Screw being man's best friend, he is the best friend and best knight of an entire nation, and the king of Demacia's right hand man (dog?)!


Anax is very dignified to his approach to victory, being very strategic and tactical, ensures the utmost victory for his king and his nation! Anax has been around so long that he has learned great magic and the ability to control it from Demacia's greatest sages of all time who have all been lost to the sands of time for awhile now, but Anax is one of the very few Demacians left that can still use this ancient magic, due to his species long life cycles.

Anax's power and will to live stems entirely from the love his nation pours into him and his loyalty and love in return tenfold, the more love he receives from his nation and every king or queen on the throne of Demacia, the stronger he becomes during that reign. Anax has raised more princes and princesses than their own parents, he stands by their side and for the nation, ensuring safety to the people that pour their love onto him.

Anax is also quite skilled with the bow, but his own bow can only be wielded by a magic user, which can come apart into two to be used as dual-blades for there is no string or arrows, it is all created by the magic that he can wield! This expertise of the way of the sword and bow makes him the finest teacher to teach the current prince or princess on how to defend themselves and their people as well. As long as Demacia still has Anax by their side, then the nation will never crumble or fall in the wrong hands!


Anax is a support where he is very, very weak on his own, but with the support of his team he becomes insanely powerful and almost unstoppable (not literally, that would just break the game completely) and he uses that power to empower his team the same way they empowered him.

One of his unique features is where his team can "basic attack' Anax (do not worry, these attacks will not hurt Anax since he is a friendly unit, basically the only way you can "pet" in league of legends) which charges up his next basic attack to deal bonus magic damage up to a maximum insane amount, but the attack needs to be fired within a few seconds otherwise the effects wear off, the timer resets whenever he gets re-empowered by another attack regardless of already being at maximum damage. This feature is most useful for letting melee allies deal damage through Anax, since they attack Anax to transfer their damage, and then Anax attacks the enemy at range.


Basic Attack Range: 575 units Base Attack Damage: 52 +1 per level Attack Speed: 0.690 +4% per level Movement: 340 units per second Base Armour: 20 - 60 Base Magic Resist: 25 - 30


Empowered by the Nation (Passive): Anax can be basic attacked by his allies which empowers his next basic attack for the next 3 seconds by absorbing the damage that would have been dealt, if the attack would have critically struck then Anax is healed for half of that attack's damage value as well. Every unique allied champion's basic attack grants Anax 25 bonus range for the empowered basic attack (max 100).

Anax can store up to a maximum of 80 - 400 (+120%AP) bonus magic damage.

Standing Strong for the Nation: Every allied champion within 700 range of Anax grants him 10(+15%AP) bonus armour and 7(+10%AP) bonus magic resistance.

Dual Strike (Q): Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds; Cost: 90/100/110/120/130 mana; Range: 700 units Anax splits his bow apart and tosses his blades into the target enemy for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds, unable to basic attack until he retrieves his weapon from the target, stunning the enemy until the blades are removed. Anax moves 75% faster towards the stunned enemy. Anax receives his weapon when the target becomes unstunned.

If Anax retrieves his weapon before the target becomes naturally unstunned then he only has 175 range for 3 seconds at 5.000 attacks per second, he can freely move while attacking, each attack can only deal 15/20/25/30/35(+20%AP) magic damage during this time. Cannot apply on-hit effects.

Royal Training (W): Cooldown: 15/13/11/9/7 seconds; Cost: 75 mana; Range: 900 units Anax enacts a powerful barrier on the target ally champion or self for 1 second, preventing all damage and crowd control against it. If the barrier successfully prevents champion damage or crowd control then the target permanently gains an adaptive 3 attack damage or 5 ability power.

Precious Bonding (E): Range: 700 units Passive: Moving and attacking grants charges, at 100 charges Precious Bonding is available. The rate of which charges are gathered is increased based on how many ally champions are within 700 range of Anax.

Passive: Anax heals all nearby allies and self for 30/50/70/90/110(+120%AP) health on attack, healing is reduced to 20/25/30/35/40% if the target was not an epic monster or champion.

The Love for the Nation (R): Cooldown: 90/80/70 seconds; Cost: 100 mana; Range: 700 units Anax increases the effects of Standing Strong for the Nation by 200/300/400% and redirects all damage dealt to allied champions within 700 range of Anax to himself instead, resistances apply after redirection, for the next 7 seconds. All damage absorbed during this time contributes to Empowered by the Nation.

Damage redirection is disabled if Anax is below 300 health.


BALANCE UPDATE:

Dual Strike: Cooldown lowered to 16/15/14/13/12 from 20/19/18/17/16 seconds Reasoning: (I brain farted with the original cooldown, it is way too high for being a single target stun and his only crowd control as a support, the new cooldown is more appropriate for its power levels.)

Damage changed to 15/20/25/30/35(+20%AP) from 20/30/40/50/60(+10%AP) Reasoning: (This is a safety precaution to make sure he builds squishy / ability power and ensures no tank builds. Also just want to point out, his passive is not an on-hit effect, it is just an enhanced attack with bonus magic damage so the melee autos apply the passive including the range bonus whenever he has absorbed any attacks [for one auto as it should be].)

Precious Bonding: Healing changed to 30/50/70/90/110(+120%AP) from 40/70/100/130/160(+90%AP) Non-Epic Monster / Non-Champion healing increased to 20/25/30/35/40% from 25% Reasoning: (Avoid tank builds and encourage ability power builds, this way it ensures Anax is squishy when isolated and very powerful when with his team, creating a very obvious strength and weakness for the opposing team can play around with. Other change to this is to help Anax and his team deal with passive, poke champions.)

I like this concept's kit and the lore is cool too but I think that it'd be pretty weird to have a poodle walking on the rift :D The abilities seem pretty cool to me but might be a bit too overpowered in teamfights. If Anax just built ap and hp, I think he would be just unkillable and so would be the teammates close to him, meaning that every teamfight is won if there is Anax in your team (ofc if you mess everything up then you might not win the fights). And his passive can make teamfights very difficult for your teammates too because if they try to hit enemies with basic attacks, they might hit you by accident and that could ruin the whole fight. If Anax is played right, your teammates just cant die. I really like the Ult and would really like to see it in action! Remember that im not a "balance expert" so this comment might be just full of poop but at least i tried using my brains for once xd. Really like the concept! Good Luck with everything!
