riot why the hell do you keep making skins for champs who already have liek 12 skins. ohh wait i have a idea lets make riven yet another skin even though she came out with the arcade skin but its fine ohh wait lets give blitz another legendary skin, who cares if he has 8 skins ohh wait lets give vieger a legendary skin even though he has 12 skins its fine meanwhile lets not give renagr a legendary skin or taric who only has 2 skins, like seriously

GreenLore1 votesI wouldn't be so sure about that. Yes making skins for more popular champs sounds like the right decision at first,but making skins for unpopular champs can actually help these champs becoming more popular.

Also the skin system draws in multiple factors: -The more skins the champ has the less likely is it for him to get a skin -If the champ is going to get a major visual update,then he likely won't get any skins before that(there are exceptions though) -If the champ didn't get a skin for quite some time then he is likelier to get a skin -If the skin team has a really cool idea for a skin they might make it anyway even if the above guidelines would go against it -How easy is it to make a skin for the champ(thats why champs like Zac don't have many skins,his model is complex)
Not to mention that pretty much none of the project champs has that many skins,zed has only 2(including one legacy),Lucian has only 2,Fiora has 3,Leona has 4 and yi has 5. And Yi and Leona didn't get a skin now for quite some time.

GreenLore1 votesIn Yoricks case its because he is getting a big rework,champs who get a major rework rarely get any skins at all(though I think the reason why he didn't get any skins before they decided he needs a rework is probably because he has so many models).
In Azirs case its most likely because he is still rather new,as well as the fact that he isn't that simple,although he is not nearly as complex as Zyra,as he only needs an additional model for his tower,for his soldier(with spear&shield) and maybe a few new skill effects to replace his sand effects.Zyra on the other hand needs additional models for her 2 plants,her ult,her W and her passive,as well as new skill effects for her Q,E and the passive shot.
Its also possible that they want to make the popular necromancer skin concept for azir,in which case he'd be released during the harrowing.
