Nyx - The Void Nuisance (New Support!)
As a support, Nyx is a real nuisance and the opposing team is gonna have a tough time dealing with all of the trickery she has up her sleeve.
P - Adrenaline Rush When Nyx falls below 200 movement speed, All of her cooldowns are reduced by 3 / 3.5 / 4 seconds.
Q - Void Bomb ACTIVE: Nyx throws a spear, dealing damage to all enemies it passes through. On the 3rd enemy hit, the spear detonates, dealing damage to all enemies around the detonation point. (If a target is struck by the spear and as well as the explosion, the total damage dealt will be the explosion damage) MAGIC DAMAGE: 40 / 75 / 110 / 145 / 180 (+35% AP) EXPLOSION DAMAGE: 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 (+60%AP) RANGE: 1000 DETONATION RADIUS: 250 MANA COST: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 COOLDOWN: 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 / 7
W - Spirit Line On Ally Cast: Nyx tethers herself to an ally, sacrificing her movement speed and lending it to her ally for 2.25 seconds. If Nyx dies while tethered to her ally, the movement speed bonus lasts for an additional 3 seconds or until they deal damage to an enemy. Movement speed lend - 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 % On Enemy Cast: Nyx tethers herself to her enemy for 1.5 seconds, dealing damage and slowing them Magic Damage: 50 / 105 / 160 / 215 / 270 (+ 50% AP) Slow: 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 RANGE: 700 ENEMY TETHER RANGE: 850 ALLY TETHER RANGE: 1000 MANA COST: 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90 COOLDOWN: 14
E - Destitution Active: Nyx torments an enemy, making sure they cannot receive assistance from allies. Any current debuffs on them are gone and they cannot acquire any for the next 1.75 seconds (this includes heals, shields, hastes, thresh's lantern, Rampant Growth, Chronoshift, Stand United, etc.). The enemy is also dealt light damage. Magic Damage: 40 / 75 / 110 / 145 / 180 (+ 25% AP) RANGE: 700 MANA COST: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 COOLDOWN: 28 / 26 / 24 / 22 / 20 (I was thinking of making this only apply to allied debuffs. So if you used it on kayle, kayle can still ult herself just fine. But that may take away from the power of the ability)
R - In My Domain ACTIVE: After a .5 second delay, Nyx plagues a spot on the ground, immediately rooting all enemies caught in it for 1 second. Once the enemies are free they are heavily slowed that decays over 1.25 second. Magic Damage: 125 / 250 / 375 + (80% AP) SLOW: 65 / 75 / 85 RANGE: 900 RADIUS: 275 MANA COST: 100 mana COOLDOWN: 130 / 110 / 90
Thoughts on Nyx
So I designed Nyx to be a hardcore support, but with capabilities of being an AP Mid. Her Q is to give her poke and if she's in a solo lane to be able to farm. Her W is amazing. The way it's supposed to work is she unloads her entire combo (since she has relatively long cooldowns) and then lend her movement speed to her ADC and they can catch up to enemies and go ham. She can also sacrifice herself to let her ally run away. I made sure the movement speed bonus stopped if they attacked an enemy because thats just too much. Her passive also synergizes really well with this so if she's about to die she can use her spirit link to save her friend from a gank. Her e is also what would make her a nightmare to deal with in lane. Especially someone like Lulu. There's very little counterplay to something like Kayle's intervention and this would make sure you cant get their ADC to go ham on your team for 3 seconds. Her ult can really change a teamfight. It's a bit like leona's ult except more reliable, because everyone in the zone is going to get rooted/slowed no matter what, and its very strong.
Weaknesses: On her own she doesn't do very much damage. She's got very long cooldowns She has no escape She's very squishy She's got pretty mediocre range
Strengths: Counters Debuff supports. Good Poke Good CC Grants incredible movement speed haste/can sacrifice herself to save an ally
Overall I really think she'd bring a lot to the rift and I hope you like her! All comments constructive and complimentary are welcome
EDIT: So i gave her a new passive that really works for her. When she falls below 200 movement speed she gets some of her times on her cooldowns back. This is the synergy from her W that I was looking for. Now the way she's supposed to be played is unload everything. Speed up the adc, you'll get your cooldowns back and go at it again. Also, this goes into her sacrificing thing. If she sees that she's getting ganked and cant make it out alive, she can unload her combo. Speed up her adc, and do some more damage before she dies, maybe enabling them not to tower dive the ADC. I gave her mana costs and I think they're pretty reasonable. Any thoughts?
