Because no one is using the chronological format because it's not default.
So a bump does nothing. No one sees it.

Just because your post doesn't appear at the top of everyone's list doesn't mean that it should lose validity or engagement. In the past, bumping has been the way to get your post to become visible again. Have you ever had an experience in which many threads that were "bumped" to the top of GD were not threads you were interested in, or they were simply necro'd because of a single person's opinion. I have a feeling that you've experienced that about 95% of the time you visit GD.
We have not yet solved the challenges that "bumps" bandaid. We are, however, trying out a new platform which opens up possibilities to think outside of the box, allowing us to break the constraints that kept us in the land of "acceptable" and bring us to "awesome"
Also - for statistics, we're much more focused on sentiment than quantity, but thanks for making a second thread!

Tell Riot "why" you don't like it, provide some constructive feedback. Sure not everything will be applied to this forum but going around "I don't post 'cause it does nothing" doesn't help at all. Might as well just not post.
