Did Riot really just remove the the most viewed an upvoted Thread about where ** Harrowing** is?

Hey, everyone.
I am the Rioter who commented in 7Artemis7's thread over the weekend and I was surprised to see it deleted this morning. The thread was asking for more communication from Riot regarding the Harrowing and specifically the Harrowing skins.
Unfortunately, it was a thread asking for info on the Harrowing skins, in the Story, Art & Sound board. Now, to be clear - I did not delete the thread - it didn't even occur to me that it was in the wrong Board. Were I the one in charge, I'd have probably let it go, seeing as there was so many of you guys feeling so strongly on the topic. However, that's probably why I'm not the one in charge :)
To follow up - no, the thread didn't get deleted because I went completely off the rails, started foaming at the mouth, and screamed anti-Riot propaganda. Because I didn't :)

From what I can see, the thread was deleted because it was in the wrong Board - and it seems the mods are slowly doing a cleanup of misplaced threads. So, not because it was popular, or wasn't a cheer-leading thread, or anything sinister like that. Not from what I can see.
For visibility and accountability, my comments are below:
I'm here. I'm reading the threads. But as you and Mcprowlington suspect, I'm not one who can make any significant changes here. In the background, I'm poking people and asking questions, but on the weekend it's slow to get responses. If I find out anything I can share, I'll definitely make sure to get back here and clear up whatever I can.
(On a completely personal note, I wish it hadn't gone down like this.)

I'd bet there's some good reasons for what's going on, that I don't know about - but if I have around-about the same information that you guys do, and I'm not a fan of it, then how can we expect you guys not to feel the same way? Hopefully I can get some real info soon - hold off on any thanks until then :)
I am still pushing to get some information from someone - and with it being a bright new Monday morning, I'm hoping we can get responses far more quickly. May not be me the one who gives out the info (there are obviously people better informed than I) but I'm still chasing it up!

Hey everyone. I'm posting this here as well as in the original discussion about this conversation's accidental removal as it will serve as a bump to bring it back into the limelight and hopefully continue that conversation in regards to current information about the Harrowing.
To be clear, that discussion was removed by accident. Conversations about Riot skins are 100% acceptable in that section at the present time.
We profusely apologize for its removal as well as the delay in getting it re-instated. We'll also be making sure everyone on the moderation team is 100% clear on what belongs where under the new Boards reorganization guidelines.
If you have any comments about this action, please post them here so as not to derail any further conversation in the original discussion.

I for one am a lover of everything League of Legends. I watch Esports just as much as I i read the lore and love events such as The Harrowing and Snowdown Showdown. Its everthing combined that makes league, league. However, This year its now November 2 and still no headless

. There is zombie slayer skins on pbe but thats hardly a harrowing event. Personally I think just becuase the world final fell on Halloween, I don't think you should ignore the event. If anything you could have made it bigger with combining the 2. And if to many people are focused on worlds that you don't have enough. get more. I am personally letdown that i cant get new Halloween icons or a sick skin. instead i got to watch a final that wasn't worth watching. All im saying is that i wish you tried a little harder to do both rather than just ignore one all together.
