Better connect chronological and discussion views

i use chronological view instead of discussion view, but people (reds included) will post using "reply" in discussion and assume everyone can tell the context. this causes me to see posts with no context or the wrong context. vice versa, i think people that use chronological view may say something in reference to a recent post, but because they didn't reply to that post or use a quote from it, it's treated as a completely separate conversation in discussion mode.

please add "reply" buttons to chronological so people can indicate what their post is in reference to without quoting it, and also add something to chronological view that lets you see what each post is in replyto, a simple link to the parent post should be the minimum and i think hovering over the link should display the parent post.
