Anyone feel like these Boards are just nicer than Reddit?

This is purely anecdotal, but I find a lot of threads that do very well here get instantly downvote-closed on Reddit. It seems like Reddit is hyper-focused on eSports and bug reports, and everything else gets trashed more often than not.

EDIT: To clarify, I didn't mean "nice" in the sense of "better/prettier/more nicely designed". I meant it in the sense of "friendlier" or "more accepting". It seems like /r/leagueoflegends is very harsh on threads that aren't about eSports or whatnot.

I think you have these websites backwards.

That's until you discuss balance and people refuse to admit that Lee Sin is broken while claiming Zed who can actually be countered and is mainly a one trick pony is.

Or until you meet people like me who just never shut up

The LOL Reddit for me is cringing after seeing people there drag a joke until is rotten, dried, remade, buried, bleached, cooked, recooked, remade, buried again.Until it finally they let it rest in peace.Karthus

Can't say I use reddit, but at least from a visual standpoint I can say I like this a lot better. Although I'm told reddit enhancement suite makes it a lot nicer.

The League community at Reddit is very strong and it is not just eSports/bug focused.
