Can't post on PBE boards because my username is the same as NA boards.

I was able to make one post. After I made the post, the username posting shows up as "null" and I was never able to post again (it tells me "login to comment")

Here's the thread with the null username:

I think I also got hit. I have an error at the top of my page stating "This page does not support your region. Some functionality may be unavailable."

I logged out and logged back in to test it, and it now functions as it should. Did you guys change it so they aren't two different websites entirely? I feel like it should be in comparison to logging into gmail vs logging into hotmail. Pretty sure that's how it used to be because i could have one tab open for regular boards and another for pbe boards. Shouldn't have to logout and log back in every single time I want to post something to a different site.

We did change it to allow folks to be logged on even if they visit regions that are not their own. This includes PBE. However, as you saw, there's limited functionality. Thus the relationship between say, NA and PBE remains functionally the same. So you're correct: it is Gmail vs Hotmail still, but recognizes who you are, and lets you know you can't do some stuff. This isn't exclusive to the Boards, though, it's for all leagueoflegends.com sites.

May I ask the reasoning behind this change? Seems super inconvenient for those of us wanting to be logged into both boards. Being logged into my pbe account, I can't post on regular boards and being logged into my regular account I can't post on the pbe boards.

It still has you logged into your live account when you visit the PBE boards. You need to log out then sign into your PBE account.

I already tried that in an incognito window. That is not the issue.

Not the "Help & Support" subboard, but the actual support page https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us. You are guaranteed a reply if you submit a request, but you may or may not get one if you only wait for a red to happen upon your thread.

I had a ticket sit in limbo for over a month one time. It was a ticket about my boards ban (since they didn't state the length or reason of the ban in the warning message). It turned out to only be a 1 or 3 day ban, but I still wanted the reason for the ban.

By the time I got a response to my ticket Pendragon had already permabanned me from the boards.... For complaining about my ticket. (I was eventually given a 2nd chance by Tamat - which is why I am able to post now).

I'm not exactly thrilled with how Riot handles boards-related tickets.
