What Free Skin?

I keep reading about some free skin people are getting. Where can I find this? (I'm not at home, so I can't check the client.)

Hextech ANnie requires using Hextech Crafting in order to get her, I believe. Plus you can get other free skins via hextech crafting.

Crafting is... Dunno if Annie's skin is in yet or not. Haven't read the announcement or anything else.

Hextech Crafting is added today. It is literally Cases and Keys stolen from CS:GO, tons of microtransactions make it not wort unless you happen to get something like Pax TF out of it.

I don't know what CS:GO is. And are you saying its not worth it because you might get bad skins?

Counter Strike: Global Offensive is an FPS where many people end up losing hundreds of dollars gambling in what is essentially the same system as this. The only redeeming quality is you can sell the stuff you get. In this, you're likely to spend 2k RP on it and only get a 1k rp value of a skin/champ, quite possibly even less.

You can but it's very limited. It's gated like a mobile game, where if you wait long enough you'll eventually get it, but if you want something now then you have to spend much more than it's worth.

My limited knowledge of CS:GO is that they don't give you free keys for the free chests. That's the big difference here.

They don't but many are cheap. And here you need to buy a minimum of $5 of RP just to get a key or two then have the rest of RP go to waste. In the popup it even said you can only get 4 a month, 1 per champ per season.

So yes you have the chance of getting something decent free. But buying these things is just straight up bad, and so not worth it.

Buying keys/chests in League with RP is appealing to the same market that buys Champions with RP. Most players won't do it, but it's there for the few that will.
