You don't need to win your lane to win

But please just don't lose your lane. If it starts to look bad and you give up a lead early and you know you aren't as strong as your opponent, just play very safely and farm and try to help your team by not dying over and over trying to make LCSBIGPLAYS to get back in it. I would much rather have a teammate who realized he isn't going to win lane and decides to farm under tower rather than die 6 times in laning trying to get every CS and trade.

If you need to sit under tower and farm with abilities, then do that but it is much harder for your team to carry when you think you need to carry laning phase to win. You don't need to always win your lane, but do your best not to lose it.

Very true. I once saw our top laner somehow come into the game with no runes or masteries because his client bugged or something, and he just acknowledged that he was boned and tried to get as much farm as he could without feeding. Come midgame he rotated really well and kept pressure on top so that we could take objectives when they sent 3 people to gank him (it was silver so people fell for that). More or less carried the game even though he had a shit score until his baits got us so far ahead that he could get fed in teamfights.

You can do that, or you can just keep trying to all-in every time you get back to lane.

Amen to this, brother!

You dont need to win lane

al you need to do is get half the cs your enemy has and protect your tower, die a max amount of 1time (if you are having a hard time)

And make sure you ping mia or folow up if its anny use when laner starts roaming

Half the time in a losing lane, I just get ganked and 1v2 tower dived. Not to mention I usually can't get to my farm while under tower, so I'm 40 cs behind as well. It just doesn't matter what I do. You'll get mad at me for "feeding", you'll get mad at me for being behind, you'll get mad at me if I leave lane. Why give a shit when you get mad?

You need to know your limits and know when you have to play safe not to feed. If you know you're not going to win your lane, ask for a gank, tell your team you have to play under tower, state that you're having problems. Worst case, give the tower and relocate to push another lane faster and force the other team to counter play. Not dying is more important than not being able to kill an enemy.
