Normally, you would play more games to make up for you losses, but I can only play 1-2 games per day and if I lose those, I'm fucked.

I hate threads like this. I embrace my bronze medal because I know I don't have the time to play the game enough to get out of it. Playing in a high ELO really is not that hard. I do not understand for the life of my why people act like gold is a super big accomplishment, and why people think they need to express this level of dominion over people.

One of the reasons I dropped starcraft 2, games lasting far too long for me to invest and gotten stale far too soon for me to learn while having refreshing fun. Now it's gathering dust on the shelve.
Personally, I'd prefer taking normals seriously than taking bronze 5 games seriously, but my argument is invalid since I've never played a single bronze game thus I have no experience to warranty me.

Second, while many players are very bad, alot of them know how to play the game to a reasonable extent, but kinda need people to really call shots, and give solid advice. I have won countless games in bronze by shot calling, and playing ranked with my brother and his friend who are platinum has really given me a feel for things like that. So to answer your question, I really prefer playing ranked.

What I meant was that it's common knowledge low tier bronze e.g. wood division is where the worst of the worst are. And that I'd prefer taking normal games seriously than playing ranked in wood 5, not that you're a shitty player.
Lastly, I do agree that many players down in bronze know how to play the game, but don't have the time needed to invest in ranked, same with alot if shitheads being in higher divisions by being duoQ carried or thanks to the inconsistency of provisionals' system.
But to each their own, if you're having fun that's all that matters.

Not true honestly, 1 player can't always carry an entire team that sucks, but let me tell you the real reason players are bronze.
1.) No one talks at champion select over half the time its auto locks and no one on the team has any idea what they are doing.
2.) The players who do not listen at champion select "You tell them you are playing Bot Lane" and they still lock and go there because they call you are troll, then rage report.
3.) The ADC who you go in lane with your support gets first blood because obviously your support has a faster reaction time than your slow adc, the adc goes back to farming creeps because they are mad and refuses to follow up for the second free kill letting the enemy get away.
The problem for sure is players who either have serious issues in Real Life, or they just have a slow response time, or lack of understanding of how to play the game, this is why a lot of players complain about being in Bronze, other players do drag others down with them, and its a fact especially when doing Solo Queue its a major issue.

bullshit. you start at 1200 elo unranked. If you have the misfortune, and that's really what it comes down to, to be put together with feeders or afk'ers in your placement matches you will not get placed into silver. subsequently if you have the fortune to be placed with an unranked gold player who carries you, you might get placed into gold, even though you dont deserve it. As crucial as placements are, they are so flawed when it comes to matchmaking, its ridiculous!
