The new chat restrict system is going to ruin league

Seriously... Wtf are they thinking? A permanent ban for 4 offenses? Ten out of ten games I would rather have 10-0 raging riven then even just 0-2 non toxic xx champion. If they really want to fix this... Just chat ban instead of real ban for toxicity that is for the most part caused by trolls afkers and feeders. Yes, it is a game and you still should be nice, but it is more than a game. For some people, it's a competitive sport that is to be taken seriously. Think about it this way - if you're playing a high school soccer game and someone just leaves... They are an asshole. Period. I am not trying to encourage toxicity, but lashing out at the solos lottery that sometimes pairs you with feeders or even worse trolls should not be ban able unless the situation is extreme (ie death threat)

People are downvoting because they disagree with you.

We don't want people in our games if they cannot be taught to behave. Having them just get constantly chat restricted is not an acceptable solution, because they will still be able to be abusive. Chat restrictions and ranked restrictions are not just meant to limit the abuse we have to hear from you; they're supposed to aid you in reforming. If you have no intention of reforming, there's the door.

If this game is so serious you need to spout out racial slurs and tell people to kill themselves in all your games (or most of them in which case you'll get reported a lot of times) then I would suggest getting help. At the end of the day despite what you think this is still a game. Those are real life people playing with you, and no one needs to be told their life is worth living over losing a damn game.

There's something left to ruin? I thought we about hit the end of the list. Only reason I play this shit game anymore is because I've spent so much fuckin' money on it over the past several years.

I think the standards of what is toxic(god i hate lyte cause of that word) needs to be readdressed. We are slowing reaching the point of 0 input in game.

Everyone is happy when the game is going fine; but the second that it goes bad, we are all in trouble because criticism is considered toxic by the player base. I personally tune out my team when a game goes south now cause we are not allowed to talk about it. I mute everyone and try to make picks or just work with anyone i am on VOIP with.

These standards are going to far and sadly they will only get worse before they get better. Riot and the white knight player base will have to be hurt by the results before they change.

No one is promoting death threats (like sarutobi jumps to)

I upvoted because I agree with you 100% that those type of people are the main reason for toxicity. The people who down vote are probably those type of people and that's why they down vote. They screwed up with the first attempted fix at their report system and now they adjusted it and made it worse. This is the way of the world though. A select few screw things up for everyone else because nobody has the balls to take a hard stance on the people screwing it up in the first place.
