Why?

I laned against a Tahm Kench for the first time today, toplane. I now hate him too. It was not a fun experience. 90% health shields OP.

I share your hatred! And I'm so sick of all that "Long Live The Crimson King!" graffiti. Imean, who the hell is Bango Skank anyway?

Anyway, it's complicated. The mother, (The Crimson Queen/Giant Spider Lady) is easily hateable, and don't give me that nonsense about she's just a product of being stranded when the Prim receded. But the father is Arthur Eld. I don't really think it's fair to extend your hatred that far. Sure, he was an idiot for dipping into the spider lady's thorax, but that's just men in general really. If not for him, the world would have continued moving on and generations would have been obliterated, to say nothing of the fact that Roland would never have been able to quest for the tower. And yeah, melting down excalibur was kind of a dick move, but come on! Sandlewood revolvers bro!

I think the person you really should be mad at is Ralph Roberts. He's the one that personified the Crimson King as a catfish. Without him, he could have easily taken a different form. At the very least bro, take relief in the fact that Los did suffer a lot when he swallowed that razor sharp silver spoon. Turning undead is no cake walk. Also, don't be afraid. He's stranded on a balcony of the Dark Tower for all of existence.

Since this is a Taum Kench hate thread, let me add my hate to it and also explain exactly why I hate Taum Kench:

I hate Taum Kench and even if RIOT buffs him to 99% win rate I will still hate him and never want him on my team because of three words: Four Second Suppression. This means that intentional or not, playing with Taum on my team just sucks. He ruins my plays in almost every game I play with him on my side and when I tell him to stop, he has invariably said that he is saving me from dying.

I'm sure the designers as RIOT thought it was a great idea - a new ability unlike anything seen in the game before! And I want to be very clear: I don't hate the designers of Taum Kench and I don't hate the people that like to play Taum Kench. I hate Taum Kench. I hate suddenly being swallowed and unable to do anything to impact a teamfight for four whole seconds while being carried away and deposited in a totally useless position to help anyone. It isn't consoling to know that I am safe while my team is dying.
