I don't think they are being racist, i think they are in a bubble and don't try to break out of it as much as they should, in general, almost every human champion could be black and it wouldn't really change them, so there is no reason not to go ahead and better represent a large part of their player base,

People create what they know, and if you are a white dude you will tend to create white dudes unless you think the theme works better with a specific race, So you kind of have to make a point of actively reminding your self not to do that,

I use the following system, each time i create an idea, i ask myself these questions,

1: Is this character's race/gender important to them in anyway? If Yes all others can be skipped because it would harm the character to make a change,

2: If No to 1, does this character's race and or gender match a majority of existing character's? If yes then change and move on to 3,

3: If it is not important does this character's race or Gender cause any stereotypes? if yes make adjustments, Example i would have reversed Nid's Gender so instead of the common hot female native we instead got a far less common Male nubile savage, the mere act of a minority male being sexually aggressive like Nid is a major deviation from the norm,

With this system you yield a diverse cast without harming them and make sure to avoid unfortunate implications,

As far as I know, we have 2 dogs and 2 cats.

I love how people think black is the only race other than white. Plus there are TONS of champs who we don't even know what their race is because of masks. If any race should be saying anything, it's the Hispanics lol.
