Stop with these dam Zed Complaints

Stop babblying about how Zed is "OP". In my opinion he's a decently balanced champion as he requires a high skill cap to pull of the plays that make Zed such a good champion, you don't just press r on someone then know exactly where to place your shadows or if you should use your shadows at the moment. As Zed isn't a champion you can just pick up and dominate with like you can with akali who's actually just wait till lvl 6 then press r on someone q and auto attack. With Zed its a lot more skill, positioning and a lot more knowledge on exactly how Zed works.

Assassins like akali should be more complained about. Yes she can easily be countered but if she is a smart akali can easily snowball other lanes as her roaming is very powerful as her ult is Always up. And its also impossible to get away from akali as she has 3 gap closers since her ult can stack 3 times. Only thing bad about akali is she has no actually escape, except sorta her shroud if the person is dumb and you juke them.

Regardless of Zed's high skill cap, he has a very low skill floor. You don't need to be super good at positioning if you want to dominate in lane. Because of the fact that he's an AD manaless champion, he can pretty much stay in lane indefinitely once he gets a decent amount of lifesteal. Not to mention, despite the fact that he's a melee champ, he can out-harass many ranged champs with his w and deny them cs. It doesn't matter if you're able to dodge 90% of his Q's, as a couple is all it takes for you to get low enough to allow him to be able to practically insta-kill you with his ultimate and get out without even taking a single tower shot.

Not to mention, even in today's League standards, Zed has a gross ability to get in and out of sticky situations with little to no risk, which is worsened by the fact that he doesn't require mana and thus doesn't have to worry about conserving his abilities nearly as much as other mid-laners do.

I completely agree with you.

However, one of the main reasons people complain about Zed so much is because of his skill ceiling. When fighting Akali, one either counters her or doesn't, but while fighting Zed, he is capable of out-play champions and combos that are meant to be effective against him.

With sufficient proficiency with Zed, one can mitigate a lot of his weaknesses, and force his opponents to be just as skillful with Zed's "counters" just to gain an edge.

The only Zed counters that doesn't require much skill are LB and Fizz. LB can pretty much just mirror his moves while out damaging him early game with higher bases. While Fizz is practically immune to Death Mark all the time. (Not saying that these champions are easy to use.)

On another note, the only reason Zed getting so much complaints is because every other assassins were nerfed. Hence, he became the best in that category and rose in popularity. As a result, people who were previously getting stomped on by LB or Kass now gets crushed by Zed.
