Why do I bother?

I buy a champ that people tell me is fun, and I like them. Then I keep going against people who quite literally just walk up, right click (or left click) on me, and AFK as they win, no matter what I do -- it's either that, or some bullshit like Zac, Malph and etc who build full tank and still 100-0 people in a second or two.

Makes me wonder why I bother playing anything that isn't just click and win. The LC$ champ pool was like 25 champs for good reason -- so why do I even play anything else, even if I find most of those champs boring as all hell?

Only way to win, unfortunately -- and apparently Riot thinks that's okay.

competitive pool shouldnt bother you. it had stuff like aurelion sol and orianna who are while strong are quite helpless against assassins and they didnt even picked ahri in the worlds who is one of the best soloq mids statistically

Honestly man it's about finding champs you can grove with. It's just that simple. I play a lot of off picks but they are whom i can work with and i am good at them they maybe off meta but i can kill many of the meta pool with them no problem. For example i jg main and i play vi, nunu, volibear,shyvanna,sejauni,j4,kindred just to name a few and i usually do quite fine if i have a good team.

^ I've beaten Zeds, Yasuos, LeBlancs, Fizzes, Talons, Akalis and Katarinas with these three champions and they all require some skillshot to be effective. That being said, I didn't learn to beat them in the first game, I actually had to work at how to play against them. I'll lose lane probably 1 in 30 games in a straight 1v1 or 1 in 15 if the enemy Jungler is smart and ganks me pre 6.
