I guess salty doesn't mean what I though

My ult as Fizz missed its target by a large margin and still stuck to them. It was CLEARLY a miss but it hit and I got a kill from it. Enemy says "/all WTF THAT MISSED" and I say"/all yeah that was bullshit. That absolutely missed you" and two enemy players say "/all lol the salt" and "/all salty much?". I ask who and they say me. I guess feeling sorry for the enemy because of a shitty hitbox makes me salty. I thought salty meant mad or annoyed.
