Weird, simple question.

If you saw someone, what would make you be very nice to them if you have to talk to them, but otherwise avoid them like the plague and act as if they're not there -- assuming they're outwardly normal, wearing nice clothes, are nice themselves, and don't smell or anything?

And I'm not talking just one person. I'm talking everyone I've ever come across.

Just trying to diagnose an issue.
