Just watched my buddy in Bronze play a few matches...

Holy shit...

Team was Jax top, Aatrox mid, Lulu adc, Kayle support and Jayce Jungle. Jax got outplayed hard, Aatrox was useless, Lulu was even worse, Kayle was feedy and Jayce was terrible. And everyone blamed everyone else. Not one person blamed themselves.

"Just admit you lost because Lulu can't adc"

"We lost because Jayce isn't a Jungler"

"Fuck you we lost because Kayle thinks she is a carry"

"I would have won if Jax hadn't lost top"

"Just report troll mid"

All of those statements were made in that match. I, for one, noticed I started winning more when I took the blame for the loss. If I lost (excluding loses in which someone intentionally made us lose) I would say to myself that the loss was 100% my fault and that I need to focus on how I can get better. I imagine that will never happen with those players, my friend included. I mean... aside from Jax and maybe Kayle the entire team was kind of troll pick champions but no one saw that in their own picks but went out of their way to berate the others for their picks.

I guess the point of this thread is, does anyone admit that they are the one that messed up or does everyone just point fingers when the match starts going bad. How can you get better if you think that everyone else is the problem? How can you get better if you think you are the best on your team? How do you correct your mistakes if you think you don't make any?

whenever I finish a match, I look at my score, and from there decide how helpful I was to the win/loss, and what I would have to do to improve. If my score is even, or better then even, I just need to be in the right pace more, if it is less then even I fed too hard, if it is even, but way up there in kills I need to play it safer, etc.

Pride will and always be the downfall of every man/woman and this is why there are issues playing games such as League of Legends where Teamwork is "Needed" in which without it the enemy will just walk over the little twigs who do not stand together. Even so, the champion picks I can see are confusing at first, It's possible for Lulu to ADC only if the player has complete knowledge of what she can or cannot do. I feel for you man and good luck.

I know I'm not perfect, I'm well aware that yes, I do make mistakes. But when someone repeatedly dives in 1 v 4, or consistently makes terrible plays, or intentionally feeds, it's just frustrating as hell.

Like if people keep trying to push a lane while their own base gets wrecked, it's really frustrating to try and put up with that sort of stuff over and over and over again.

Everyone talks nice in this thread when they're not in the heat of the game, but I know from experience, a nice guy in champ select can turn into a monster if the game goes south.

It's really hard to admit to making a mistake because you'll be blamed even harder if you do. So people try to shift the blame around to others.

I personally try not to dig too hard into people or swear at them/belittle them. I'll point out a mistake they made, but I don't assault them with a verbal diarrhea of insults and curse words. That being said, I do swear quite heavily if I myself make a bad play.
