Some people are so quick to get pissy

Just did a teambuilder. It was obvious I was placed with people that were fairly new to the game or the champ or the roles they were playing. The match was not fair at all. I was jungle and when I was level 7 the enemy jungle was level 4 and 30 cs behind and I hadn't done any counter jungling. I thought "Maybe I should give him advice and help him out."

"Kha you don't really want that smite. You seem to be struggling so you want purple smite. Faster clears and more sustain"

"How about fuck you. muted."

Sure. Okay. Perfectly reasonable response.

I hope you counterjungled the shit out of him just to show him you meant business.

Not to be malicious, but people have to learn not to bite the hand that's trying to help.

Played a game last night with an adc that went 0-10-2 or something by 30 mins, and was raging at me for not roaming bot to help deal with the enemy Orianna. I was playing Ziggs and she only "roamed bot" once when my adc was in the enemy blue jungle for god knows why. Anyway, I kept farming, and stalled out the game to the point that I had full build and we almost won. Adc raging away the entire time. During and after the game, offered to give them some tips to help them play better (they were plat II or III or something). Told to "Go F*ck Myself" (paraphrasing a little).

Next game, I get matched against them. We stomp them. Wasn't even a close game. Was 8-1-25 (something ridiculous like that) on my tank jungler when we ended. Made the same offer. "Hey want some tips on how to improve? Not being rude or anything, just want to help."

"Go F*ck Yourself, reported."

Some people man, some people.

Some people are quick to dismiss unsolicited advice. You may have more luck by asking first: "Hey, Kha, I noticed you're having some trouble - mind if I offer some advice?"

Alternatively, you may perhaps offer to give some tips after the game, when things are less stressful. It won't necessarily help them in that game, but they're more likely to be receptive.

OP I am impressed :) I was all ready for the normal blah blah everyone is a crybaby post but nope this is an honest pissy person thread lol. I'm guessing they thought you were trying to be a smart A$$, it's a shame they didn't take your advice. It is also a shame that most people think any advice they get is someone trying to be a jerk or W/E.

I must say the best advice I ever got was simple and didn't make me happy when I got it :) Only later after some consideration did I take it...

"Get Better"

Honestly, it was what it took for me to stop complaining to myself about what was going on in-game and actively going about practicing in create-a-games and other such things!

I think you went about it in the right and wrong way. You wanted to assist another player who was struggling and maybe teach them something about the position/champ they were playing. But, as one had already said, maybe you shoulda asked if they were open to advice. I commend you for trying to assist another player, especially one on your enemy team. Really, you are a good person for that (maybe you could give me some jungling advice some time). I'm just saying what you did was good, and the way the Kha player reacted was unnecessary. Have a good day fellow summoners, and maybe I'll see you out in the Rift.
