Just played a match. Get in champ select and our adc's name is CST SaintVicious but in the game his name turned to JunglePIs.
Even after the game it says "CST SaintVicious has joined the room." but the summoner name up by the champion icons is JunglePIs. I am genuinely confused about this.
SmokedAlmonds4 votesIt probably has to do with a recent name change. I remember something similar would happen in WoW right after you named changed. If you got whispered it would like show their old name but to reply you had to manually enter their new name.

Well it take awhile for forum to sync with in game account, but during game that is unlikely. I've changed my summoner name over 17 times and never once this happen to me.

Not in game but in Champ Select i.e lobby.
