I get that part of being a caster is presenting little things as big things. Shouting loud in teamfights ect.

But i don't get why they make such a big deal out of sejuani's ult. Sejuani's ult is so easy ta land, every time i play sejuani, i land her ult stunning multiple people in every fight. It's literaly one of the easiest skill shots to land in the game but casters make it look like it's some sort of pro only play.

I get landing a good sion ult can be much harder, or landing an amumu ult to stun 5 people can be hard, or a good nami wave, or a good equalizer, a good shockwave, or a nice annie multistun. But sejuani ults are easy as hell and making it look like it's professional exclusive, it's stupid.

Same reason in DOTA tournies you'll see Enigma just push 2 buttons and have it followed by "OH MY GOD IT'S A BLACK HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLE", it looks cool and has a big impact in fights

I don't even watch LCs but it's not because it's difficult. It's how impactful it is. Sejuani smacking someone with her mace is just like ok whatever an auto attack doing no damage. Sejuani landing ult on 3+ people in a teamfight is a huge part of winning that fight. IE, it's extremely impactful.

I don't disagree it is a very impactfull mive, however my argument is about it's overall difficulty, which isn't that much, a bronze player can land awesome sejuani ults. It's not you got a perfect shockwave, or a perfect gnar ultimate. It's fairly easy land a perfect sej ultimate.

I think its more the potential effect that sejuani's ult can have rather than the difficulty it takes to land it. A really well timed sejuani ult can make or break a teamfight and it is one of the biggest sources of sejuani's power.

I think they do that because the Sejuani is playing against pro level players, who are way better than the average player. Personally, I have a hard time keeping all the variables in my head so I forget to sidestep the sej ult sometimes. Pro players can multitask much better, so there's a higher chance of them being able to dodge/sidestep the ult. It's a big deal because

It has a massive impact on the game
Smarter players have a higher % of sidestepping it

The make a big deal because its a potentially game changing ulti, its difficulty is irrelevant.

That said, landing a good sejuani's ult vs highly coordinated LCS pro teams is a lot harder than landing one vs Bronze noobs in solo queue who refuse to buy wards.

because wins are built out of executing basic plays. Why do crowds cheer at free throws in basketball or one timers in hockey?

"Big plays" are just simple plays being done at effective times.
