There is an option to suppress the notifications. But you have to keep checking off the box in every log in because logging out unchecks the box which is obnoxious on Riot's part. I checked that I do not give a shit about your LCS BIG PLAYS so stop reminding me to watch them.

But Riot spends thousands of revenue on esports so they need to reach a certain level of viewership to justify spending that much money on something that has zero impact on the betterment of the game itself. That money would be better spent on fixing the EUW server, reinstating the tribunal, buying a decent writer to run the lore department, creating new champions more frequently, training more intelligent monkeys to run the gameplay and balance department, firing Riot Lyte in order to make a better behavior reform system and leaver buster system and the list goes on.

Tl;dr Riot spends more money on esports than every department but the skins department. They need to ditch esports today and spend that money actually improving their game.
