I honestly hate this game. When people ask me if I enjoy it, the answer is always no -- so why play, right? Well, thanks to the fucking gimme generation enabling greedy assholes like Beck and Ma (CEOs of Riot and Tencent respectively), every game is garbage, every company is a slimy whale milking station, and nothing is enjoyable anymore. So, when you have literally no other options outside of staring at a wall and sleeping all day... you play games you can't stand.

I played WoW for over 10 years and loved it, but then Activision got greedy, and went and destroyed the game. When GC left, the game went to trash. Since then, I've been looking everywhere for a new game to play, but nothing sticks out. Everything is just a bunch of thinly veiled cash grabs run by shitty people.

Basically, thanks to fucking assholes enabling other assholes to go ruin an entire industry... I have nowhere else to go. So, that's fun. Now, let me go get demoted for playing fun champs into Team Braindead and get clicked to death by very talented, skilled people who obviously deserve the absurdity their kit gives them.

From what I gather, you hate this game, but you aren't leaving because you don't like any other game?

Sounds like this type of game just isn't for you at all. Maybe find an entirely different hobby?

There are plenty of f2p games out there, download the steam client. mobas, rpgs, mmorpgs, shooters. There are too many to count

Tree of Savior is pretty good, free MMO on Steam :D

If you are bored of every game, or simply don't want to play any game because of the people that make them, why not try making your own?

Unreal Engine 4 is completely free to use. You can even sell games made from it, with the stipulation that you need to pay a small royalty to Epic Games after the first $3000 in gross revenue. You would need to gather up assets to use in any game, but you said you can draw, sculpt, and paint, so it's not a far fetched idea for you to make your own assets.

Blender can be used to make meshes and models, also completely free to use. Though, if you can afford it, 3DS Max is pretty much top tier.

If there's no game today that interests you, make the game you want to play.

I agree most online mmos have been getting more greedy, but you can only blame the people playing. They know americans are lazy and spend money instead of grind, and spend money to just collect cosmetic stuff. People buy $1,000 worth of cartel packs in swtor in one purchase, how do you think other companies react to that? Games that never had a cash shop before have one now. You have to spend money to some extent to enjoy these "free" games which are really "freemium" now. If you don't want to then maybe just give up online pc stuff, serious. There is so much out there you can do like mario kart, pokemon, even the vita has a ton of online games. If thats too casual for you then maybe you are the e-sports type, and if league isnt cutting it then just try another one. Dont torture yourself to play something you dont even remotely enjoy. End the ritual, break the habit

If your really burnt out and looking for something new i recommend looking at source forge games section. Lots of cool stuff there that is actually free and not even capable of being blatent cash grabs. Alternatively get a gog account and play some games from when games were good.
