This is why we can't have nice things... (FTP discussion)

So, as we all know, League of Legends is a free to play game. Riot makes money of of SELLING CONTENT, not off of people playing the game. If every single person in the world played lol, at least currently with their financial model, but none of them purchased RP... LoL would make no money. People ask for a lot of things - a replay system, sandbox mode, or my personal desire a voice chat built in. But, before you request a new feature, first think: would this be economically beneficial to LoL? Let's not kid ourselves - Riot basically doesnt care about us as players, besides making us happy so we buy RP. I'm not saying this is a bad thing - it's just the truth of the matter. This is why LC$bigplays champs get the most skins - because people like to play these champs, they get purchased more often then, let's say, a Galio skin. Before Riot puts in new content or changes things, this is the question that they ask themselves. So please, as nice as it would be to believe that Riot cares about our feelings and wants the game to be the highest quality, let's be real - they want money, and if an idea doesnt get them money, they won't do it. Period.
