Going in as Graves ADC, and this happens...

Chose Graves ADC. Put on my only skin I could afford, Firearms Graves. Had an Annie support.

In Game:

We're against a Twitch and Anavia. I sat there thinking, I'll let Anavia and Twitch lose their mana first... They got early farm due to our assist with Ekko jungle. Anavia got some good hits with Q, I didn't last. Coming back to bot, I see enemy Ekko send;

Ekko: lol, look at your Graves farm Annie: i know, i don't think he knows how to play Graves Annie: i don't even know what he's building

Well, it was still only 7 minutes in, and I had boots and a long sword so... i say (not in all chat):

Graves:...

By late game, though, I had gotten killed only 1 more time; Annie left me... and I barely pushed bot and mid. Annie seemed done with me (not sure why) even though I had gotten 3 kills (or 4) with only 2 deaths. Helping mid, we eventually pushed almost all the way, until they decided to forfeit (the enemy team).

In the chat lobby, I ask Annie:

Rew711: annie, why so toxic at first? Annie: You for one dont know what your doing as graves Annie: you need to learn to build better Annie: and not take Ignite and TP Rew711: ¬–¬ Annie: You got the ball rolling because you KS'd Xerath two kills otherwise it woulda been a **** fest still Rew711: ¬_¬

Annie finished the game with a 5/7/9, which isn't bad, but why is she asking me to be perfect? She couldn't even keep herself from dying 4 times and took 5 kills. Xerath never complained nor said I KS'd him. Annie was the only one being mean. What would you do?

I've gained Graves for 4 months in a row to learn him. Played him in MANY ways. And its now been about 2 years of me playing Graves. I think I know, at least, how to use Graves.
